It is no secret that the outbreak of COVID-19, aka, the coronavirus is raising concern across the world.

At SpeedCubeShop, the safety of our customers and staff is our top priority and we have been and will continue to monitor the situation very closely.

While we always pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, sanitary, work environment, we have taken measures over the last few weeks to heighten our sanitation standards per the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

These measures include multiple sanitization stations in each work area and throughout common areas, the distribution of disinfectant wipes among our staff, and additional training for keeping ourselves, our office, and our products clean and germ-free.

The World Health Organization states "Because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures... Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods." 

As an even further precaution, we have been routing new shipments of inventory to an alternate storage unit to be quarantined for a minimum of 7 days before it is transferred to our main facility to be stocked and shipped. Any product available to be purchase on our website has already been quarantined and will ship with no delay. Additionally, our staff is wearing gloves when handling products.

We are proud to say that all of our team members have remained healthy during this time and our county is considered low-risk for the coronavirus.

While we are low-risk for the coronavirus, we are not taking the situation lightly and will continue to do everything that we can to make shopping at SpeedCubeShop, a safe, easy experience.
