I got the Gan 14 Pro Maglev UV after using the Gan 14 for a couple of months. I wasn't having issues with the Gan 14 popping on me, but decided to buy it based on a review I saw on YouTube.
The 14 Pro feels more solid. You can keep the cube fast without it feeling loose or flimsy, especially while corner cutting. The corner cutting feels much better in general on the Pro.
It's smooth right out of the box and even better with some lube. The sound is pleasant and pretty quiet, especially compared to my Moyu RS3 V5 and WRM V9.
The magnets feel about the same as the Gan 14, but without the loose or flimsy feeling.
The out-of-box settings weren't actually all that bad. For my Gan 14, I was using the settings Tension 3, Center Travel 2, center row corners 1, and outer corners at 3.
I set the Pro to the same settings and found it to feel a bit too loose and not quite the same, so I set it to 3313 and I love it. The same settings on the regular 14 feel slightly too tight.
I'm not a huge fan of the new tool to open the center caps because you need to have the tool on you, but it works great, and I haven't shot a single center cap across my room trying to pry it up!
If you're looking at the Gan 14/14 Pro, I recommend skipping the Gan 14 and getting the Pro for the extra few bucks.

Lube Note: I've pulled this cube apart twice to clean and try a new lube. I liked my normal lube mix of Lunar and Stardust, then switched to Martian, and then Comet and Stardust, before going back to Lunar and Stardust. I think this works great with faster lubes, but a lube with more control might be great if you are having issues finding the right settings.
