We're celebrating our 15-year anniversary at SpeedCubeShop! It all started in 2009 with one passionate cuber and a simple mission: to deliver high-quality speedcubes and unbeatable customer service to his fellow cubers. That cuber was Cameron Brown, our founder, a teenager who decided to turn his frustration with unreliable overseas cube shops into an opportunity. After losing $200 of his hard-earned savings, Cameron opened SpeedCubeShop, the first speedcubing store in the U.S., from his home.
What began as a modest online store with a small selection of puzzles quickly grew into a cubing success. Cameron’s commitment to providing great customer service, fast shipping, and a wide variety of puzzles became the basis of SpeedCubeShop’s success.
In the early years, our first warehouse was located in Bakersfield, CA, where our business grew until we had to move to another larger warehouse in the same city to keep up with demand. As we continued to expand, we eventually relocated to North Las Vegas, where our current warehouse and headquarters are currently located.
Today, SpeedCubeShop has expanded beyond its home office to become one of the most trusted retailers in the cubing world, with customers worldwide. We even opened a second warehouse in Ontario, Canada, to provide faster shipping to our friends up north.
