YJ YuHu V2 Megaminx Magnetic

Took some time to break in but feels amazing colors look good but not a fan of how bright the yellow is and how tight the mega minx feels

It's a little squeaky, but great quality for the price

Pros:
- Easy to learn if you're familiar with the 3x3 basic algorithms and want to try something more complex but not too time-consuming like the 5x5
- This model of the pyraminx has great colors and no stickers, and it's easy to work with generally

Cons:
- No magnets
- You may or may not like the fact that the design of the faces is not completely flat/flush

I got my megaminx close to a week ago, with no knowledge of how to solve it. Since learning, I have done 20+ solves and plan on completing many more. I have nothing to compare this puzzle to, as it’s my first and only one, but I will say it’s a fun puzzle and at the price, it’s great, especially for a beginner just trying to get into it.
The only (very small) issue I have with the puzzle is a couple sides don’t turn as smooth or quickly as the others. After some investigating during setup, I found that there are some inconsistencies in spring length. Not a huge deal, as the puzzle is very budget friendly, but still something to note.

I work on a construction site and I keep my megaminx in my lunch box. I have had it roughly 2 weeks. I basically spend my lunch and 15 min break solving the D10. It's now not quite as smooth. This could be due to construction dust. I def need to service it and I am giving the megaminx the benefit of the doubt due to my environment being extreme. Would buy again. I have had only positive experiences with speedcubeshop.
