This was my first 6x6 and 7x7 cube, I had seen the reviews and knew it would be good, but I was very pleasantly surprised. For starters, it’s fast for a cube of it’s size. Even without any lube it’s pretty speedy. It’s corner cutting is great for a large cube, and it gets locked up and pops almost never. If your looking for a good main speed cube this would be great for you.
I think the sparks is a better size and more controllable the mgc is the second best it is faster and locks up slightly more but not as bad as the aofu
Best 7x7 on the market besides the new gan one what really makes this cube great is the affordable price
The YJ MGC nxn lineup is my recommendation for competition big cubes and 2x2. I main the YJ MGC 2x2, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, and 7x7 in my WCA collection. Having the same feel for all my WCA puzzles makes it easy. Turning is very nice and these don't lock up like other brands I've owned. You should buy them all!
YJ MGC 7x7 is the best 7x7 after breaking it in. I love solving it and I'm not super fast at 7x7! My hands are'nt tired after a full solve
