I preordered the black-sided UV version 6 weeks ago and I've really been looking forward to it. It arrived this morning and it was totally worth the wait! It's not only an amazing megaminx, it's probably the nicest, most high-quality puzzle I've ever used. I have 2 Dayan Megaminx Pros as well (standard and large versions), and I love them, but the Gan is just on another level. The UV coating is great and the puzzle just feels perfect in my hands. I haven't done any kind of setup and probably won't any time soon as it feels pretty much perfect to me straight out of the box. It's an expensive puzzle, but I can honestly say that it's absolutely worth every penny.

This is an absolutely perfect Megaminx. Although I have not used many others before, I can guarantee that anyone who buys this would also give this cube a five star.

This is my first “nice” megaminx and I absolutely love it. My other one is just a cheap one and it doesn’t turn well. This one turns great and is so much faster but my favorite feature is the way the corner pieces are shaped, the indents for your finger make it much easier to manipulate the cube. The colors stand out really well, it’s easy to tell them apart even in low light. I love the feel of the uv coating, I think it’s totally worth the extra $.
I can only think of one word to describe the turning of this thing, heavenly. The weight, size, and colors are all REALLY NICE. Which makes solves a lot more enjoyable and a lot less fatiguing.

Decent megaminx but the maglev makes it feel kind of weird. Honestly Gan should stick to cubes. The magnets were not great but that comes down to personal preference.
The indents in the cube did make it easier to grip though
GAN is a favorite amongst my daughter. This one does not disappoint. Magnets make it fast and smooth to solve.
Great grip, excellent turning and no corner twists. Weight is great too. A nice upgrade from the DaYan (which is solid and a good value).
Probably the most coolest cube I have in my collection. And since it's gan it looks even cooler😎 And don't be afraid of thinking it will be too hard to solve. The mechanic is almost the same as a 3x3 with just a few more steps and it's finished. Haven't tried to do advanced stuffs but beginner method is still great. And the magnets inside make the cube align so well even if it's a twelve sided cube. Although the cube is a bit expensive I recommend it to people who want to try new and unique cubes but don't want one too complicated. Overall great cube👍
This megaminx is awesome! It’s a little pricey but you get your money’s worth. UV coating, fast turning, Maglev, it’s great and a huge upgrade from my old Carbon fiber stickered megaminx. If you have the money, go for it!
the magnets in the gan megaminx are outstanding, and really help the smooth movement of the controllable turning cube.

Great megaminx right out the box. I never even lubed it.
I like fast cubes, and this one can get fast enough for me. Fast and smooth turning and the piece and core magnets keep it stable. The low radius core magnets give it an auto-aligning Gan feel.
The concave corner caps don't look like much, but they are actually effective.
I got the version with black replacing gray, and I use center travel 5, tension 2.

I got mine with the Cosmic setup, and it is the smoothest cube I have. Very stable, and the colors are not confusing at all, they're very clear and bright.
