Customers praised this speedcube's "unbelievably fast yet stable" performance with exceptional corner cutting and auto-alignment. Many achieved personal records and called it their new main. The extensive customization (1000+ settings) impressed most, though some found it overwhelming. Common concerns: pricey, weaker magnets vs. predecessors, catching issues, and control challenges.
- Once dialed in, it's unbelievably fast yet stable. Pricey, but absolutely elite.
- Super controllable with very good corner-cutting. Definitely recommend for speedcubers!
- Incredibly fast, smooth, and light. The auto-alignment is amazing!

My friend somehow got a black internal gan 14 from china, and he let me use it. When I first started turning I noticed that the corner cutting was really good. But one thing is the magnets are kinda weak compared to the gan 12 and the 13. Its not uncontrollably fast but it is quite fast. Its very crunchy kinda like a v11. I have a 12 and i would say the 12 is quite a bit better than the 14 just bc it has stronger magnets and its cheaper. But the 14 is still a great cube so if you want to buy it i dont think you will be dissapointed. Idk what a regular 14 feels like because my friend had a black internal one that you can only get from china but im assuming they feel the same. overall rating 8.4/10
The cube is good and corner cuts cool.
The customization is wild. Once dialed in, it’s unbelievably fast yet stable. Pricey, but absolutely elite.
Omg so good, way better than the oringinal not only because of the popping issue gone but its also so much smoother and clicker! 100/10 and the best cube I own hands down.
great cube but realy expansive great for expert cubers but amazing turning
The GAN 14 Maglev Pro is easily a 5-out-of-5 cube and one of the best speedcubes I’ve ever used. Right out of the box, it feels incredibly fast, smooth, and light. The MagLev technology makes a huge difference—turning is nearly frictionless and super quiet, which makes the ride feel effortless.
What really sets this cube apart is the customization. With tons of adjustable settings, you can fine-tune everything from magnet strength to tension and get the exact feel you want. Once you dial it in, the performance is insane.
The auto-alignment is also amazing—it almost feels like the cube is helping you finish turns, which makes your solves faster and more consistent. At the same time, the upgraded anti-pop design keeps everything stable, even during aggressive turning. ()
The build quality is top-tier, too. The UV coating (if you get that version) feels premium and super grippy, and everything about the cube feels high-end.
Overall, if you’re serious about speedcubing or want a flagship cube that can keep up as you improve, the GAN 14 Maglev Pro is absolutely worth it.
I originally ordered this when it came out for $80 and would do it again it is simply amazing.
I was initially worried to get this cube given that it gets frequent criticism, but I have used this cube for about 6 months now, and I love it. Its customizations are unmatched, even by newer GAN releases. I have not experienced the popping issues people have complained about. Overall it is a very versatile cube that I would highly reccomend.
Great cube over all some times it’s a bit hard to control but would definitely recommend
Despite the price, the cube is ultra adjustable, feels great, and comes with helpful accessories. Great cube all around. Worth $65
This cube was right away my main.
I set 2 new pbs on it, in the same day about 5 solved apart lol
I got a new pr with this cube! very fast and smooth.
it is very fast and kinda loose. it is expensive though. it is good with martian, comet and stardust. this is my new main
I believe this cube is decent, out of the over 1000 possible ways to set up this cube there is bound to be one that fits perfectly for someone, I feel like the maglev or corner magnets lack because this cube catches quite a bit and it feels and seem to be catching from the inner pieces, after playing with the setting I have it to a decent setting yet I feel like it lacks for being a pro
It is really fast and it suits me well, as it is a marginal improvement over the 13. This cube is my new main and I love the adjustability. Thank you, SpeedCubeShop.
This cube is a huge difference but there is to many settings.
i bought this a few weeks ago, and it turns amazingly! also, if you haven't already got a UV coated cube, i highly recommend u get it on this cube. anyway, just buy it
It is a really good cube but I don’t think it’s worth the price. Instead I would recommend something like the Xman Tornado V3
I like this cube alot it has a great feel and turns very well.
Compared to the Gan 12 and 13, the auto alignment is a lot better and sharp. Corner cutting is flawless and doesn't pop even on the looses settings. Better turning than the 12 and 13. Very crispy, would recommend.
This cube was really smooth and good but a little too fist but I like loose turning styles so it kind of fit me.
These cubes have come a long way since 1982, when I got my first "Rubik's Cube". This is a little pricey, but if money isn't an issue, it's worth it. I'm too old for speed cubing, but I really like the magnet situation. I really like the feel of this cube.
When I got this cube, I was going to do an unboxing video, so I had to wait. When I did get to open it, the cube came with a royal blue velvet bag (my favourite colour), and I was surprised at how I could turn the U face once and it turned THREE TIMES! (This was my first GAN.) A few days later, I got a new record: 22.49 seconds.
This cube has very good corner-cutting and it's super controllable. Despite the cube's price, I would definitely recommend it for speedcubers looking to level up!
Excellent Cube. Love it
I love the feels of this cube, but it’s just not quite there, definitely an upgrade from the 13 and 14, but not better than the 12 or 11, I’ve tried so many different setups and just couldn’t find one with proper balance between controllability and corner cutting/not catching, this cube does make me hopeful for the 15, but I still wouldn’t recommend it over the 12, though on the bright side I was able to make it into a pretty good one handed cube
