A Smooth Entry Into the GAN Ecosystem

The GAN 356 RS is a great introduction to the GAN feel without the premium price tag. It’s lightweight, smooth, and has the signature airy turning that GAN cubes are known for. Corner cutting is solid and reliable.

While it lacks magnets, it still performs surprisingly well with proper tensioning. It’s an excellent choice for beginners or casual solvers who want a taste of GAN quality.

Good Starter GAN

Lightweight and smooth, but lacks the punch of the magnetic versions. Still great for casual solving.

Shockingly Good for the Price

Super smooth and stable after a quick setup. Not the fastest cube, but insanely reliable for the cost.

Budget Smoothness Done Right

The 356 RS is a great entry‑level GAN cube with a smooth, soft turning feel and reliable corner‑cutting. It lacks magnets, so it’s not as stable as higher‑end models, but for beginners or casual solvers, it’s a fantastic value with that signature GAN feel.

Great Entry‑Level GAN Feel

“Light, smooth, and very easy to control. Not as fast as the flagship models but still has that clean GAN feel. Great choice for beginners.”

Perfect starter cube

It been my starter speed cube but I can easily get sub 30 sec times with it. Easy to clean and high quality. Might not be magnetic, but for the cost it's perfect.

good replacement, bad cube

Out of the box it was pretty good, but once it popped it became pretty bad. Also locks up and adjustments do nothing. It's not lower because it's better than my old one.

Does its job

Good for its price but it is what you pay for, which is a nonmagnetic beginner speedcube
