MoYu MeiLong 7x7 V2 (Magnetic)

Best budget 7x7 on the market. After a little tensioning and lube it took me like 20 minutes to solve, the inner magnets strength is great, the turning quality is really good so you can do algorithms without worrying it will pop. 10/10 would recommend. It also comes with a stand which is nice

This is coming from a 9 year old cuber, it feels good and the factory lube is nice, and the magnets are strong enough to keep it together, while also being weak enough to do individual slice turns, though it is a finger and arm workout to scramble, it also can't pop super easily, which I feel is nice, and it has a nice grippy texture for me (this might just be my autism speaking from a slight bit of hypersensitivity), it feels nice if your just doing quick solves, but it can hurt your arms if you do a long sesh, for me pops are super bad cause there's not much inside except the pieces and they take up a lot of space, so unless your willing to unassemble and and reassemble the whole cube to get your pops out of the way, then you are cooked. there is also not very many accessories, and since its a moyu cube, and moyu cube is a Chinese company, it is impossible to understand if you aren't Chinese and know Chinese or without using a translator, you are also cooked. though it is very nice to make a checkerboard pattern and a superflip, so it gets an 8/10 from me. but 5 pieces have popped for me and I need help solving it and assembling it.

Really smooth turning with strong magnetic feel

Smooth turns and better corner cutting than expected. Amazing value for under $20, but if you're looking to set a PB then you should upgrade to the AoFu.

Amazed at how well this turns out of the box. The only thing I can criticize is that it has a noticeably springy sound, but I imagine that'll go away with some lube. Great cube; highly recommend!

Its very small (at least much smaller than I expected) however the turning is absurdly fluid for such a compact cube, you can even flick a U2 (ie with one flick) on this, an it actually corner cuts so well

this cube actually turns better than my 5x5, corner cutting is what a 20$ 7 by 7 will get you, but magnets and turning is great!

This cube is simply fantastic, especially for just $20. I can absolutely recommend it for those just getting in to 7x7.

Fast, high-performance magnetic 7x7 for $20? No-brainer. Outer layers can be further improved with Florian modding, inner layers can be further improved with dorito modding. The mods take a few hours together, but are cheap and significantly improve the cube. My one gripe is that the inner layer magnets aren't quite strong enough to prevent turning when I turn the outer layers even slightly inaccurately, but I hear the AoFu has stronger inner slice magnets so I think I'll give a shot. Also, this cube pops occasionally when I have it loose enough to be fast, which is very annoying as the puzzle is not easy to reassmble.

Everything about this 7x7 is a chef's kiss; but before we get into this review, I have some recommendations DO NOT ADJUST THE SPRINGS THEY ARE PERFECT OTHERWISE IT WILL POP, also BUY THE MAGNETIC VERSION AMAZING BOX AND MAGNETS ARE AMAZING. ONE MORE THING BUY THIS. Now, I will list out it's pros and cons. The colors are beautiful, best blue, best green, best red, best orange, best white, best yellow nice display cube to impress non Cubers. I am not kidding this turns better than my Gan 11 m duo. Don't even get me started on the magnets 10 chef's kisses to them. The pieces are the only mechanism inside so if it pops it won't be too hard to put back together (I think; it hasn't popped on me to badly) And the price cheaper than Mgc no 7x7 can 1 up this; but now for the cons (not much) has a tiny spring noise, but it's usually unnoticeable. It is a tiny tiny pinky bigger than the average 3x3. I love this thing you should buy it now.

i liked this 7x7 for my second 7x7 and first magnetic 7x7 i think its great value and its pretty smooth

Even though this is a budget cube, it honestly rivals some of the more expensive 7x7s I've tried after setting it up. The cube feels stable and quick, my only issue is that slice moves are catchy sometimes. It's also pretty small, smaller than my MGC 6x6, which some people might like.

I don't normally expect a cube of this size to turn very smoothly, but this one turns just as well as my 5x5 cube and feels equally as solid. 7x7 has actually become my favorite cube size to solve and the fact that this one is just so fluid and well-built is a major factor in that. Would definitely recommend it!

For the price, this is a great cube to start for a 7x7. The magnets are not super strong, but the cube still has a good feel and smooth turning.

It isn't as nice as, say, the MGC or X-Man Spark, but is a good cheaper option. You'll be happy with this purchase and hopefully develop a feel for the next upgrade.

I'm not sure why this cube is priced so low. It has amazing performance, and it's possibly my favorite cube. I would highly recommend it for both casual solvers and top competitors.

the cube itself is good with strong enough magnets to allow middle layer turns with one finger, but when turning and individual slice, it is hard because the pieces are small and other slices can move with it.

I solve 7x7 for fun and relaxing, so maybe there are better out there for speed but this one is perfect for me! I love mini cubes, so this big cube being mini and magnetic is perfect, and it turns amazing!

Magnets really help align the layers and to prevent popping. Great cube!👍
