Customers praised this magnetic 3x3 cube as an "excellent budget option" with smooth turning, dual-adjustment system, and strong corner cutting. Many noted it's "great for beginners" and speed cubers. Common concerns: very fast out of box requiring setup/lube, plastic feels cheap and fragile, magnets could be stronger for some.
- Turns like a premium cube for 1/4 of the costs
- Excellent performance for a cube around $12
- Right out of the box it turned very smoothly

This cube is so underrated with its price. So fast right out of the box, so I would like to recommend to adjust its "****" a bit tighter to prevent it from poping. The magnet strength is just a bit weak (not too much weak) but it's okay. I really really love this one. Pure recommended cube for budget and beginners.
This is the best budget cube ever. Add weight 5 lube and omg THE BEST. Turning feels like you bought a super expensive cube 100/10
This cube is surprising, the cube ootb did not require that much setup to be good, the corner cutting was nice and once I loosened the cube more and added solar and martian, this cube became even better. It's my current main and I'm sub 15 (I avg around 14.90 or something) and I use this cube so I recommend this cube to beginners and opt out for the higher variants if your a pro
good
If you are on a budget I would DEFINITELY recommend buying this. The magnets are strong enough to keep you from turning too far, but not so strong that they hinder turning. It is light-weight and comfortable. Definitely my new main.
This is my go to gift option for anyone that I'm teaching to solve. It has all the features you need for beginners with the dual adjustment, corner magnets, and textured interior. Magnets are very snappy and the corner cutting is decent. Turning was very fast out of the box. The plastic does feel a little cheap which is expected at this price. Haven't had any issue with it breaking when dropped, but also wouldn't be surprised if it did.
It was good just a little fast
Good turning and quality cube for a cheap price
I think this cube is money worth
Turns pretty well, wish the magnets were slightly stronger
Got this cube to test it out, as it was a budget-friendly choice, but turned out to be one of my favourite cubes. Excellent performance for a cube around $12, also Ideal magnet strength for me as well.
Great Beginner, budget cube. Turns great and I have gotten a few PB's on it. The only bad thing about it is that it is fragile.
Incredible cube for the price. I got the maglev+ballcore version as my first upgrade in about 15 years and loved it. Got this as the backup and its almost just as perfect. Im sure there might be better cubes but this is cheaper than all the cubes i ever bought when i cubed back in 2008-2009 and its miles better. Crazy how far cubes have come.
Cube arrived on time and right out of the box it turned very smoothly. It was a little fast for my skill level, but the dual adjustment was a great tool for getting the turning and feel just where I needed it. Overall great 3x3 for someone who wants to start speed cubing.
nice cube that is a bit fast but with setup its great for a budget
The RS3M is a great cube for starters. It isn’t too fast but isnt too slow. The tightness system is a bit too much at first but it is easy to use after a bit of use. I used it without lube and it was really smooth! With some setup, this cube can be greater than it is. The magnets are also strong enough to turn easily. These unlike the tightness system cannot be adjusted. Great cube none the less!
For being under 10 dollars this is a cube can absolutely perform. This would be a 10/10 gift for beginners wanting to get into it or a good budget cube.
The RS3M V5 is a solid budget choice with its high speed and easy customization but the plastic quality is rather poor which you can feel while turning. If you are gentle however, the plastic is passable, but it's a point of concern, nonetheless. Overall, a great budget option for those who enjoy light magnets and a fast out of the box experience, approved.
By no means is this a main contender for likely anyone, but it is the perfect multi blind cube. Easy to set up and easy to maintain.
I think this cube is amazing for the price, it turns smooth once broken in a bit, and has stayed consistant for me for over 30 thousand solve. Would highly reccomend this cube with any kind of "fast" lube as a good combo. Will probably just buy more of these when my main gets too worn down.
This cube was a great budget cube and had the performance of other great cubes. Very light.
For the price this cube is amazing and quickly became my new main. With a bit of setup and adjustment I haven’t looked back.
Out of the box. The cube was really good. It’s been a week and a half, and the cube has declined in shape, but it may be because I don’t have any lubricant on it I would recommend it for beginner speed cubers
very fast and smooth. turns like a premium gan for 1/4 of the costs
The cube is great, it doesn’t turn with quite as much ease as I was hoping though, even after being set up properly.
good cube very smooth if it had a instructions in how to set it it would be time saving
es buen cubo que tambien esta a buen presio
For starters, I'm an intermediate solver that is still refining keyhole method and not quite sure if I have the patience to learn cfop yet. This cube has multiple variants, with this being one of the lower end models. This is my first cube with a dual adjustment system, and it feels alright. Once you have your settings dialed in you don't have to worry about breaking the cheap plastic on the adjustment system. With that being said, this is NOT a cube for beginners in my opinion. This cube is very fast out of the box and requires some lubing and tensioning to feel comfortable. Then again, I am also coming from a MFJS3M with a slight bit of silicone lube to slow it down and smooth it out. I realized I had my tensions quite high on that cube after turning this one. After a little setup with some light lube, it has gotten a lot more controllable. Times on this cube for me has gotten slightly better after dealing with getting used to the difference in puzzle speeds and controllability. This is a very affordable puzzle, but if you know someone who doesn't even have beginners method memorized yet, get them a budget cube such as the MFJS3M.
