Magnetic speed cube praised by customers as "great for beginners" with fast turning and strong magnets. Shoppers noted smooth performance and good corner cutting. However, concerns about durability emerged, with some reporting pieces popping out, loose magnets, and annoying noise after extended use. Price comparisons suggest better alternatives available for less.
- Great first speed cube! The turning is controlled and stabilized with magnets.
- Nice turning and magnetic feel. Performed better with this than my previous cube for a year.
- Very strong magnets and turns amazingly. Easily adjustable. Highly recommend.

This is a pretty good cube for beginners, and it helped me reach a sub-30 average on 3×3. However, there are definitely better cubes available for a similar—or even lower—price.
If you're just learning to solve the cube or only plan to cube casually, this is a solid option. But if you're looking to improve your speed and take cubing more seriously, I'd recommend investing in a higher-quality cube instead.
The build quality was also disappointing in my experience. After only a few months of moderate use, one of the corner pieces snapped(first picture), and the center **** repeatedly came loose, causing the entire cube to fall apart during turning. (Second picture)
**TL;DR:** It's a decent beginner cube and fine for casual solving, but if you plan to stick with cubing or improve your times, you'll probably be happier with a better-quality cube.
I got this cube as my first speed cube and it works great! The turning is controlled and stabilized with magnets. Great cube!
I i love this cube. I originally got it from walmart but it still works amazing highly recommend i also bought it with a 2x2 for only $20 so love the cube.
I was surprised a cube made by Rubik's had magnets but it's true, it's good, corner cutting is a. solid 9/10. I recommend it to beginner-intermediate.
I used it for a week and the magnets are now loose in the pieces. It makes a very annoying sound.
I got the rubiks speed cube about a year ago for my birthday, since then it has been reliable great corner cutting, magnet strength, and buld quality. I would reccomend this cube every day that ends in y!
The Rubik’s Speed Cube is pretty good, but not perfect. It turns much faster and more smoothly than a regular Rubik’s Cube, which makes it easier to solve once you get used to it. The colors are bright, and the cube feels nice in your hands.
However, it can be a little too loose sometimes, and pieces can pop out if you turn it too aggressively. It also takes some time to adjust if you’re used to a standard cube. For beginners, it might feel harder at first.
Overall, it’s a solid cube for practicing speed, but it has a few issues that keep it from being great.
not a great cube for pros if you have been at cubing for a while the i suggest you get a gan or moyu but for starters great an you can loosen it if its to tight
The cube is great. It is WAY faster than my last one. I solved my old one yesterday and it was very different. This cube turns very fast and feels good.
Worked well for a while until it started breaking
For the first magnetic speed cube I got its great for beginners
veyr good and veyr cheap very nice and very fast
It's a good cube, but it feels dry. you shouldn't get this unless you just want the cube because of the brand, get the moyu rs3 m 2020 for only $9 (it is WAYY better than this one because the rubik's speed breaks after just 1-2 months.)
Not worth it for 20 dollars a lot of cubes are way better for a price of 20dollars
this is a great cube I started with my friends before I got this
if yor a beginner ok but if not dont buy this i reccommend either a gan cube or a moyu cube for cheaper and better quality.
Overall a great budget cube, especially for a rubiks brand. Great corner cutting, adjustability, and turning. One thing preventing this from being a 5/5 is the noise, especially with most of it being spring noise, which can get annoying after a while.
Solid cube, tho you can get better cubes for a lower price
Better for a Rubiks then I excepted, but you can save money AND get a better cube. Alright corner cutting, tho it does lock up sometimes. Cool to have in my collection, but as a cube itself it's mid.
Easy to control but very slow to the speedcube
The rubik's speed is a good speed cube but the thing is that it's just a rebranded swift block and it's much cheaper but if you're a rubik's fan or find this for cheaper this is a good deal.
this cube is fairly fast out of the box, and the magnets are pretty solid. however, after a couple of months, the cube started making an annoying clacky sound with each turn, the magnets started to loosen, and the turn speed started to decline. if you are at target and want an ok cube for beginners, then go ahead, but i would recommend getting an xman tornado for cheaper and better quality.
I have the 3x3 one and its like a Gan13
If you look closly then you see hearts on the colours.
This was my very first cube, and I found it to be a great introduction to the hobby. The performance surpasses that of the original model, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the magnets; they provide a satisfying level of stability and control. Overall, it has been a rewarding experience.
this cube is realy good but its the same as the Swiftblock cube but if you wand it to be rubiks but also a speedcube then this is perfect.
