Customers praised this mirror cube puzzle for its smooth turning and excellent value at around $8. Most found it "stunning" and fun to solve, though many noted spring noise and limited corner cutting. The shapeshifting design adds challenge but can cause lock-ups. Great for blindfolded solving and a popular first shape mod for 3x3 solvers.
- stunning turn quality for the price
- BLOWN AWAY with how this turns!
- The cube turns great and aligns better than I thought it would

You get what you pay for. Don't expect something crazy with this cube, it turns somewhat smooth, but does lock up occasionally. If you want to practice mirror cubes this is a good place to start. You can't beat $8.
got this years ago and didn’t have high expectations, but it’s actually pretty smooth. turning and cornercutting are good and its smoother than a lot of old budget 3x3s i had back then.
this cube actually has stunning turn quality for the price. you would never guess but it actually has decent corner cutting, just no reverse corner cutting. if you want a mirror cube just to solve a mirror cube, this is amazing. I love mirror cube and might consider a moyu or gan, and since im too lazy to learn 3x3 bld I love doing this blindfolded. would 100% recommend to someone looking for a mirror cube.
Good cube!
you pretty much get what you pay for and its really fun to play around with. but due to the shapeshifting it locks up really easily. but overall i recommend this cube.
A little hard to turn but I would weather have a cheaper one that’s harder to turn than a 40 dollar gan
I was BLOWN AWAY with how this turns! I had never owned a mirror cube before this, so the shapeshifting completely obliterated my remaining brain cells. But after I got the hang of it, the cube wasn’t as hard to solve.
The turning is smooth and the gold looks super cool, overall great cube.
I thought I was getting two ☹️🫤
Good for the price
Nice little puzzle!
The Cube turns good, although you can hear some spring noise at some turns.
It's fun to solve a shape-mod of a 3x3.
Definitely worth buying.
Turns well and is fun to play with, but stickers may come off. You can hear the springs when you turn the cube.
Not that hard to figure out if you can solve a 3x3, but it's still fun to solve from time to time. Turns well but stickers can get damaged easily.
I think that the mirror cube is super fun. it is great to put your practices from the 3x3 into this shape-shifting mod. It is definitely a challenge to start, but after a couple of solves you'll start picking it up. It is also a great way to impress your friends!
I do want to add that this is the only mirror cube I have so I don't have anything to compare it to. I must say that it does turn well (once you can figure out how to hold it) and is a very stimulating puzzle.
its very fun and a nice twist on the normal 3x3, but sometimes there's spring noise
The 2x2 version is better. Very loud springs on one side and it's a bit tight. Loosen the springs and add a little lube and it would be much better.
Still a fun challenge.
difficult but fun
great cube
The cube turns great and aligns better than I thought it would. This is a very fun puzzle to solve and although intimidating at first, its easy to get good at.
Great for being mirror blocks, horrible spring noise on top layer out of the box though.
As long as you don't speed solve on it it's amazing.
It turns very smoothly and has a nice feel to it, I think's it's worth the price
Not great cube but good mirror cube.
Fun cube, they also look awesome
I love my black-plastic, gold-stickered ShengShou Mirror Block. I will probably buy a couple more.
PROs:
1. it is beautiful, especially when scrambled.
2. It is also great for training the mind a bit beyond what you get with a traditional cube.
3. When properly aligned, it turns smoothly and easily.
4. It is reasonably priced.
5. This might be an a cube that could be used by someone who is colorblind.
CONs: (which would only be a problem if it were more expensive, none affected my 5 star score):
1. To turn, the pieces must be properly aligned, if it doesn’t turn easily, something isn’t aligned perfectly — you may have to be a little patient.
2. It seems to have a small core and some of the pieces can stick out a long way, giving a lot of leverage when if miss-applied could damage the cube.
3. Though it turns fast and easily, I wouldn’t call it a “speed cube” (see CONs #1 and #2).
4. At first I was totally confused by the puzzle (but (partial) enlightenment eventually dawned).
5. No magnets
I really enjoy the cube. It is a very nice change from a normal 3x3.
Really enjoy this puzzle!
I loved it. It was so much fun
This is a very cool cube, no pop and really cool feeling
Easy to turn, hard to solve. This one is a challenge!
Very reliable and smooth 10/10 would buy again
It can be hard to turn, but it's a fun new challenge and it looks really nice. Corner cutting is definitely lacking, and going for speed with this cube might be difficult. It's a lot of fun though!
This is a great puzzle as a 3x3 shape morph, but the actual performance of the cube isn't great. It has extremely smooth turning out of the box, but the puzzle feels light and there is basically no cornercutting. This is fun to solve, but not very fun to turn.
