YJ MGC Megaminx (Magnetic)

great cube for a good price, the design is pretty unique and the turning is pretty good, mine came with an extra magnet that was outside of one of the peices which was odd.

This is a nice Megaminx. Its big. about 2mm bigger than the GAN v1 and .5mm bigger than the YuHu. The edge ridges feel really good. Magnetics are good strength. Has a good turn feel. Cant say much about speedsolving, but for casual solving, is a great cube.

this puzzle wasn't feeling great out of the box but i adjusted the tension and added some lube and it's feeling great now.

I was really hoping for better, but right out of the box, one of the pieces was already coming apart, and one of the sides was stiff a lot. (ik its an easy fix but still) I went to exchange it, and customer service was great! New cube was much better and didn't need any adjustments, but some pieces are still a little misaligned. (might be minor OCD taking over)

Everything else was mostly ok.

Mine needed a lot of love out of the box. Most of the springs creeked and it was kinda tight. But after lubing and tensioning it worked alright. Wish the magnets were a bit stronger.

Feels exactly like I'd excpect from an mgc puzzle. Great magnets, fast turning, and overall fun to use. Only problem would be the spring noise but it's easily fixable.

Almost as good as the Gan Megaminx

the megaminx comes way too loose. the ridges on the side of the pieces get in the way a little, not too much though. the edge pieces come to such a fine point between the two colors that it can be a little hard to find the right pieces. last but not least, the corners twist extremely easily, almost with no effort at all.

This is am amazing megaminx for surprisingly cheap. The ridges make it turn really well, and the magnets are the perfect strength. Only slight problem is that the corners twist easily, but it's easy to resolve with a little tightening.

Great megaminx and so beautiful. I added Martian to make it smoother. The ridges aren’t super noticeable.

This megaminx is so good if you are just starting out. The magnet strength is great and it is just fun to use.

Overall the cube is preety good. The colors are nice and bright, cornercuting is fine, speed is awesome, everything is good exept it gets a little unstable, i can't find a way to tight it up. Great cube

Great purchase. One small problem that might only be on my part, during solves some corners twist and messes me up. But other than that the megamix is great and looks amazing.

It is amazing the corner cutting is so easy and i love the strengnth of the magnets, I love the color of the plates, this is a really great cube everyone should try

With setup it’s amazing. Out of the box it’s a little loose for my liking, but with tightening and lubing it’s awesome! (Comes drenched in lube)

Although I have nothing to compare it against, I'm enjoying my first Megaminx experience with this puzzle. I was already a fan of the 6x6 I have from MGC, which is why I went with their Megaminx and the quality is every bit as good, feels every bit as solid, and turns just as nicely as my 6x6. I always spend the extra $4.95 to have my puzzles setup before they're shipped as well, that way I always know I can just have fun with a new puzzle literally right out of the box instead of dealing with lube and tensioning first, so that's an easily justifiable additional expense in my mind. The MGC packaging is also high quality and not at all flimsy or cheap like with some other comparably priced competing brands, so if you plan on keeping the boxes like I do, you won't have to worry about it collapsing or falling apart any time soon. Overall I'm very happy with this puzzle, and as always, Cameron and his crew do a great job with the whole purchase/customer support process.

I got this puzzle for my son that loves to cube and he said the puzzle is amazing and he was very happy with is and he got a new PB on it. my son told me to give it a 5 star so I'm giving it a 5 star.

I really like it!!! Very good price for a magnetic megaminx. This is my first megaminx, but I'm very pleased with it. I find the ridges on the edges useful for controlling the cube. I would highly recommend this.

comes soaked in lube and tensions were all over the place. took it apart and found like a 3rd of the screws were bent lmao
