Out of the box, it is very fast needed tightening and lube (I used lunar)
Immediately got a PB single of 9.48
That said, I had the core break about 6 months after getting it, I just recently got a new one and it's nice for now, please scs start selling replacement cores
Overall it's a wonderful cube for the price. Never used Square-1 before but this seems to catch sometimes making turns difficult but the magnets to align layers makes it even better.
This was my first ever sq1, and this doesn't disappoint. turns are really smooth, but one side on mine is much faster than the other one. I don't know how to solve it though, but still would get again.

This cube was very fast out of the box, but it was very manageable, however it felt amazing. I loved the extra black pieces that it came with it. This will defiantly be my main for square 1 in the futter. :)
