If you really want to magnetize it I think that's a great idea, but it will be an absolute pain. And if you don't want to spend 10 hours doing that, there's actually a factory magnetized version available. Hope this helps!
By the way I recommend magnets on the stronger side for the inner edges, and for the corners you should put slightly weaker magnets for easy 3x3 stage.

It's not for speed solving, it's for the pillowed experience, and it feels great in my hands. Hard to turn, but expected...
I rated 4 star only because it's hard to turn, but I still love it!
PS: Any idea if this cube can be magnetized? I hope The SPC will read my message and answer me.

If you're going to get it, I strongly recommend prelube, as out of the box it is very dry, and tends to lock up a decent amount, but thats expected on a big cube.

Solving big cubes is a lot of fun. From that point of view, this cube is good especially for the price. However, it is much harder to turn than all my other cubes. Half of the solve time is getting the layers perfectly aligned to allow a turn. Good for the price, but I think I would have spent the extra money and bought a higher quality cube if I could go back.

Really tight out of the box, but when you break it in for an hour or so then it turns fine. Has ok corner cutting but it doesn't reverse corner cut at all, but that's expected for a big cube like this. It came pre-lubed so luckily I didn't have to go through the nightmare of taking it apart and lubing it myself. It's very heavy, and even though it's a 9x9 I think they could have made it lighter. It also came with marks on 2 of the white pieces, one center piece and one edge piece.
