Description
Cosmos Lubricant is changing the way speed cubers control their turning!
Most controllable lubricants are very "gummy" which completely changes the turning feel of your speed cube. Cosmos is special because you are able to achieve an extremely controllable turning feel without any added "gumminess".
Recommended for: 2x2 - 5x5, Megaminx, Pyraminx, Skewb, Square-1

Customers praised this control-focused lubricant for making cubes "super controllable" and smooth. Many noted it's "very slow" and effective with just 1-3 drops. Some found it too slow for their preference or "gummy" when overused. Long-lasting formula works well mixed with faster lubes for balanced performance.
- It brought my 35s average to a 30s average. Perfect for control!
- Only about a drop and a half needed. Great product
- Controls well without gumming up the cube which is my absolute favorite

Cosmos is the perfect lubricant for Control is not super thick, but it does make your cubes more controllable so I highly recommend it
I've tried out most of the SCS lubes and cosmos comes out too slow for me. If you like pure control, it may work, but i prefer something on the lighter/faster side of the spectrum.
Lunar has the perfect balance of speed but stays where i need it and lasts quite while.
The picture is my ranking of the SCS lubes from best on the left (Lunar) to my least favorite on the right (cosmos). I used them on a bunch of Little Magic cubes to do a lube comparison for this review.
I haven't found a use for cosmos except this comparison.
If you like controlled, it would be good, but i love speed instead. It just made my cube sluggish when it was slow earlier, but I bet it would be great on a fast cube.
Not bad lube, just too slow for me.
Honestly this lube is not the best. It’s not that it’s bad for helping you control your cube but it’s honestly too good at it. It definitely helps me control my cube and stops me from locking up but it also severely slowed down my cube and made it feel oddly gummy. So it’s honestly not bad but I’m sure that if you mix some faster lubes with it, it would be better. Honestly on its own its not good, at least for my liking. it does have great control though
Even though i like my cubes very fast, this lube is great. It is best you only use it for 2x2 and 3x3, but if you just add a drop or 2 it makes the cube smooth and a bit more controllable without making it feel gummy
This is a great lube if you have a speedy cube which you want to feel a bit more smooth. Personally not the best lube for me as i found it to gummy and slow but i know people who love it. For a first lube this is a fine option.
perfect lube to add some control to your cube. lasted longer than expected
It was the first lube I've purchased, haven't tried other ones so I can't compare but to me it serves the purpose, although I think I might prefer faster lubes over control but I won't know till I try the other two I've recently purchased!
I recently purchased this lube and it definitely slowed down original Moyu cube a lot. After adding this lube to my Moyu wrm v11 though, it made my cube super stable. Overall four stars for this lube!
I am not a fan, because I do not like slow and control cubes, but good if you like that!
allows my cubes to be smooth but controllable. creates a crunchy feel
Nice lube! It gives my Nexcube a nice smooth controllable turning feel. I would give 5 stars, but the plastic bottle is hard and the lube is hard to dispense. Other than that, Its a 5 star lube!
Controls well without gumming up the cube which is my absolute favorite for skewb
Too slow.
Too slow
The lube was very controllable, and I would repurchase it.
Use two or three drops. It slowed my cube just a tiny bit. Didn't add any extra feel to it. It brought my 35s average to a 30s average. Perfect for control!
If you are starting with a completely dry cube I highly recommend starting with only one or two drops, slows the cube right up, but does exactly what is on the label. Fantastic in combination with Martian so you can fine tune.
Exactly what i wanted for more control
This lube makes you cube more controlable and it really does seem like it lasts forever
Love it! My cube was a bit too fast and I couldn't control it properly. So I added a real tiny bit of lube and viola! Only about a drop and a half needed. Great product and there's no need to buy more than 10ml because its enough to last you a long time.
It slows down and controls cubes!
It’s perfect to slow down any fast puzzle
Cube is super controllable, and not gummy at all! Perfect!
very gummy and slow, would not recommend
It does exactly what the stats say it does and you can feel the change after just a single drop
This is one of my favourite lubes.Makes the cube more controllable, but it does add WEIGHT to the cube by just a bit.I wouldn't say it slows down the cube when the lube has finally broken in.it starts out very slow.but it will feel better after like 20 solves. Also 6 drops is wayyy to much.its basicly like you trying to walk while 2 2,000 pound weights are chained to your leg and ur desprately trying to move.even around 35 solves its very slow. So I will HIGHLY recommend 3 drops.
I found out the hard way that you don't need a lot of this. One drop in my 7x7, and it is much quieter. Too many drops, and it feels like the cube is heavier when turning.
