DaYan FTO Magnetic (Ball-Core)

I bought this FTO a few months ago and ever since then I could not stop solving the FTO. I feel like this FTO is better turning in some of my three by threes. The only reason why it’s a four star review than a five star review. It’s because it’s big and can be too big for younger Cubers.

I can’t wait to put this cube and I’m pretty sad. They took a clock but it’s cool. They added this and I can’t wait to get this practice and do this cubic cup keep it out.

I liked my experience on this cube, the core magnets were a big step up at that time and once I got this cube, I liked the turning style alot and I have alot of fun with this cube, this fto makes me think that this puzzle should become a wca event

The Dayan FTO is a really cool, numb WCA puzzle, although it is a little dry out of the box I still give it five stars for House move attorney is it does not want to pop and it is just a really cool non-WCA puzzle if you wanna get a FTO, this is the one to get

Best FTO on the market but personally I think the ideal size is betvine the dayan and dianseng

Let me start by saying the only non cube I feel attached to is megaminx...until I was convinced to try FTO. Got this one because the dayan megaminx pro is such a good puzzle that I wanted to give this one a shot. I am more than shocked at how not only is it such a smooth, well-constructed puzzle of which could rival moyu for engineering and design, but FTO is criminally underrated. It feels like learning how to cube all over again, and I fully expect this to become the next WCA event. My advice to anyone reading this: if you're already considering a new avenue of cubing, don't hesitate. Get your skills locked in now to get ahead of the game, and this is certainly the puzzle to buy.

Feels nice and loose but also stable, kinda like a cross between a really good skewb and a pyraminx, but solving feels like a megaminx, pyraminx, and a 4x4 all wrapped up in one. Normally I'm not a fan of frosted plastic, wither, but this one feels phenomenal and appropriate for this puzzle. Its fast, fair warning, but adjustable. This is definitely a puzzle you can easily grow into!

This FTO is definitely the best on the market, after a bit of setup. I found that tightening it slightly made the cube not feel nearly as unstable, and still let it do some corner cutting. If you want and FTO, get this one.

Ive been waiting for this to come out for a while! Love the look!

DaYan has finally did it! I am a fan of both GAN and DaYan; though, I usually prefer the DaYan for it's lack of noise making. Their FTO feels more like a GAN. If you want a speed FTO octahedron, I highly recommend this one!

This is my first Fto and I am not disappointed. I just learned it so I haven't set it up, but it works great out of the box, can't wait to break into it some more.

This is an excellent feeling puzzle and I'm having a fun time solving it raw. When I figure it out i can't wait to start doing fast solves.

So far all the cubes from this website have been great and my son loves them and says they are good

I’ve had this puzzle for about a week now, and I love it so much! Great colors, incredible turning, moderate magnets, the whole nine yards. Learning how to solve an FTO has reminded me so much of when I learned to solve a 3x3 for the first time years ago. Fingers crossed that the WCA adds it as an event soon!

This was my first FTO and it did not disappoint. It turns extremely well, the color look amazing, and the plastic of the puzzle feels great! I highly recommend purchasing this puzzle!

Amazing cube, it’s miles ahead of any other cubing hardware, only complaint is it’s a pain to assemble, but at least it doesn’t pop!

When I got it, it was really quite tight. After a good bit of loosening it turns much better though, doesn't pop but comes apart easily as well if you want to lube the insides

This is my first FTO, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but overall, I'd say it's a great puzzle. I chose it over the magnetic DianSheng model having heard that it was a significant improvement. I figured I'd rather pay a little extra rather than take a chance of being dissatisfied. For all I know, the DianSheng might be fine as well, but I'm definitely satisfied with the magnetic DaYan FTO. The corners are easily twisted, but this hasn't been a significant disruption, maybe happened once out of about 50 solves so far, and it will probably be even less frequent as I become more accustomed to the different angles between rotation axes angles in comparison to conventional cubes.

Simply one of the best FTOs, turns great out of the box, the magnet strength is good, it doesn't pop at all. Good for its price, Definitely would recommend this puzzle
