DianSheng Galaxy 15x15 (Magnetic)

It is really really good

I just finished the first solve of this cube. Now I have solved 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 8x8, 9x9, and 15x15. Seriously, I originally only wanted to learn to solve the 3x3. That's it. The 8x8 was the same company as the 15x15. I put the 8x8 next to the 15x15 and the 8x8 looks so small, and I thought the 8x8 was huge. I recieved this 15x15 on Monday and finished it a week later. I slept and worked a lot while I solved it. The last 2 days I stayed away from it because I kept forgetting the last 3x3 steps. I figure it took me 24 to 30 hours of actual solve time. Mostly the centers and edges. Like most big cubes it's kind of tight on the inner layers but the outer layers are smooth and easy to turn. I think the magnets could be stronger a little bit but they are OK. The 8x8 locks magnets a little better. I didn't use lube and as far as I can tell it wasn't lubed at the factory. In my hands the cube just fits where I can move it around. It does give my fingers a workout though. It's not really heavy though. It is a little heavier than my galaxy S25 ultra if that helps. Sometimes I had to put it on a solid flat surface to even all the layers. It's a lot easier to align the layers than a non magnetic cube. The hardest part of solving the 15x15 is the last edge. I still don't know how. I did it but only by messing up until all the edges just matched up. I learned to solve cubes on the YouTube channel "Easiest Solve" so all my methods descend from his 3x3, 4x4, and 5x5 videos. Doing the final 2 edges is moving a layer over the right side and doing a flip move, then putting the center back together. But then you get left with a single edge with alternate orientation. He says to do an algorithm, and it works on the 5x5 but the 15x15 it doesn't work if the last edge pattern is not perfect. I just keep **** the cube up and fixing it and then eventually all the edges line up. After I solved the 15x15, I looked at the book the cube comes with. There's some algorithms in there. It seems to show how to solve the whole cube by a reduction method. Maybe I'll try to figure out the book's way to fix that edge problem next solve. It comes with a screwdriver, but I have never adjusted any of my cubes. It comes with a soft carry bag, and a stand. It also comes with a cleaning cloth. I have been carrying it in the box for protection.
For SpeedCubeShop, this cube wasn't in stock when I ordered it. The fulfillment was pushed back at first from what it said at order time, and it kept getting predicted to be in stock further in the future on the cube's page. But it was surprisingly shipped on the first estimated ship date. When I got the notice it was shipped I thought it was simply lying, or maybe it was just preparing for shipping, but sure enough the post office had the package that night. It came the day before Easter, but I couldn't get in the mail box. I thought I had the wrong key. I was very excited, but it turns out the mailbox was open. I just didn't know until Monday after Easter. That's my bad. I have complaints on the shop or the cube. Nobody on the internet had this low of a price for this cube. Most were for $75 more. I'll be back for more.

It is fast turning very few pops and comes with accessories. Much prefer this than moyu or ShengShou

I absolutely love this puzzle on a nice cold rainy day to spend so many hours solving. a true challenge for any long time cubers, However, this is super scary to use (just using any big cube in general).

2 of the magents popped out after barely an hour of use. Inctedibly poor quality control considering the price of the cube

I was thrilled with the DianSheng 11x11, so I jumped right to the 15x15. An amazing puzzle and conversation piece! It's pretty big for my hands, so I like solving it at a table. But the exceptional build quality, smooth turning and full magnetization still make this a lot of fun to solve. What a time to be alive!

It turns so well other 15x15 cubes have a lot of pops this does not pop
