A fresh version of the axis cube

The axis cube is one of the cubes that I enjoy solving the most, and rushed to buy the 4x4 version of it once I discovered it in the shop. You'll have to deal with parity cases that come with it being a 4x4 and messing those algorithms up is a nightmare of mine that hasn't happened yet. Overall, it's a surprisingly light cube that feels a little loose, it turns really well as long as your alignment isn't off. When I want to tackle a familiar challenge with a bit of a twist, this is the first cube that comes to mind for me.

Great Cube

The cube arrived in great condition and was very fun to solve!

Playable, and that's about it

Turning is great, no catches. Only thing to trip you is pushing pieces at weird angles! Very fun puzzle.

Outside of the good playability, this thing is not great. There is substantial plastic flashing all over the puzzle, and some caps like to fall off.

Nice challenge

It took me a few hours to figure out how this cube worked on it’s own because I’ve never ones a Axis cube. It jumbles well and nothing jets out too much. The cube they used as a base is pretty bad and the cube itself is very stiff, and I also got a pop on my first solve. It is also pretty loose ootb and to scared to make it more stiff. But what do you expect from a budget 4x4 shapemod 🤷‍♂️ Also don’t try parity on this shapemod it’s gonna mess up your solve.

Amazing cheap puzzle

For it's performance and turning the puzzle is kind of cheap but doesn't feel like it. Same as on the 4x4 there have to be created centers and edges which is not that easy. I can recommend this puzzle for people like me who enjoy shape shifting puzzles.
