GAN 15 3x3 New Black (Magnetic, Core Magnets, UV Coated)

I got this cube a month ago and one complaint is that the yellow center has already cracked on the first day because I was being a bit too rough but is still holding up amazingly and the best cube for any one let it be beginner or noob to pro n this is undoubtedly the best cube ever

This cube feels really fast no matter how much you tighten it. When you try to slow it down with some heavy lube, it feels gunky. So you’re unfortunately stuck with an uncontrollable, slow cube. Solve is going well during the F2L stage, then… it all falls apart when you try spamming a pll alg to get the solve done, and you end up with a disappointing time.

I’m sure this cube works for a lot of people, but for my aggressive turning style, it’s just not worth the $60 I spent for it.

P.S. I would give it 4 stars, but if you’re doing some more complex fingertricks and your nail gets stuck under a corner, part of the tile of the corner gets awkwardly raised (at least for me). It looks small but is really disturbing in solves. Normally I would just purchase a new piece for the cube from scs, but I don’t want to do that when I’ve already spent more than I should on this mediocre cube.

Absolutely fantastic speedcube! I bought these GAN cubes for my niece and nephews, and they were an instant hit. In terms of the cube, the New Black is perfect for me because I find most Gan cubes too fast, but this one is a bit slower and more stable and controllable. Well, yes, the GAN 15 is a light cube, but.... I feel like at most of the settings its very gummy and slow. I don't know, its just my opinion, but I wouldn't exactly recommend it for speedcubing, if thats what you're looking for. I personally would recommend one of the GAN 356s.

Coming from an RS3 M as my daily (also a magnetic cube but a bit outdated) this was a huge upgrade. It's amazing how light this cube is and just how fast. I liked my old cubes but you can't go back once you try this one. Tuning it makes a difference, and while it's a bit annoying to figure out at first once you do it's easy. Each center piece has two gears to turn; the lower one is tough to see, but once you start turning it you realize you can feel a huge drop when it turns from 6->1, then you just click it up to whatever setting you want... you don't need to actually see the numbers. Added a few drops of lubricant as a last step and it was even smoother.

The GAN 15 is my new main cube. I feel like it has a lot of control+speed, and it is a great cube to show off.

It's broken in well. Was a little loose out the box so adjusted it some and much better. Might change to stronger magnets since it's a little fast for me. It seems to hold well to turning even though a bit loose.

Ok. I bought this Cube after i purchased terible MoYu Weilong v11.. V11 is so bad that i had to go back to GAN. I decided to go to 15 New Black instead of 16 because it has old design. This is my son’s competition cube. Compared to most other speed cubes this one is feather light. I really like the three sets of corner magnets that are easy to swap. Corner cutting is very good/excellent. My son prefers a looser tension so the cube feels a little out of control whenever I solve it. The tension is easy to change and I personally love the way this cube feels at the middle settings. Overall, a very premium cube. I would recommend to anyone who prefers a light weight feel. The corner magnet strength and tensioning can be modified to suit many different preferences. The lack of heft is what sets this one apart. Oh, the UV and colors look and feel amazing.

the gan 15 new black is an insane cube. definatly would recomend it. the black internals are also a refreshing difrance from gans normal colors

If you are scrolling SpeedCubeShop and are looking for the best cube 3x3 , stop here. This cube offers a wide range of customization options, doesn’t really matter if you’re a beginner or pro. Also, my cube came 2 days early so I’m even more hyped about it.

I love the light turning and overall light feel the puzzle has, but it's very fragile. The corner cutting is great for small cuts but terrible on the bigger ones. $70 is just insane for what you get. My core broke and it took two days to find all the magnets. I superglued it back together but it wasn't the same. Speedcubeshop sent me a replacement core. A month later and the new core is cracking. One of the magnets fell out so while gluing it in i noticed stress cracks around the other magnets so i superglued as much as i could. I also noticed one of the magnet stems plastic is splitting where the magnet is attatched.
I wouldn't recommend this cube. It feels really nice to turn but it has quality issues. Get the gan 12 instead since that one performs better anyways and is cheaper.

My mom ordered a gan 15 for my brothers birthday after 3 weeks it didn’t arrive my mom wrote an email and they said it will come in a week when I went out i saw that the neighbours got Gan 15 60$ gone

Cube is super light, out of the box it felt smooth turning and cutting, maglev and tweaking for different feels goes a long way too. Love this cube. New main for sure.
