Customers praised this Bluetooth-enabled timer for seamlessly connecting to CStimer and tracking solves. "Best in the market for practicing," many said. The timer features average calculation, light-up display, and durable construction. Some noted the app has limited utility without smart cubes, occasional sensor delays, and battery concerns. Overall, shoppers recommend it as excellent value.
- Best in the market for practicing with bluetooth connection. Works with CStimer perfectly!
- Such a time saver, easily connects to csTimer. Super intuitive and very durable.
- Very accurate and kind on batteries. Modern look and far cheaper than other timers.

I had done this timer on Christmas, and I really like it because it connects to my app that I have for it. It doesn't turn off at all or reset when you slam your hands down too hard.
It's just like any timer, naturally it simply times you. What makes this the "best" in my opinion is the fact it has a bluetooth connection. It works with CStimer perfectly, and hitting the GAN logo will begin inspection. I'm not entirely sure if this is competition legal, generally I see the stackmat V5, but regardless, for practicing at home it's amazing.
I must say I saw the price of their newest timer and thought that was crazy for a first timer. Then I saw this one and it works really well.
So! Awesome timer, I was totally on the fence at first, not knowing if I wanted to spend the money or not but overall good choice, rlly cool and so much fun, works with several different timing platforms. It does come with the an app, a little confusing but cool, however doesnt connect to cube desk more than once, but does work for csTimer. Overall good buy I love it, it's cool, affective and awesome.
I love this Timer!
Awesome timer! I love how it finds the Ao5!
works well, connects to sites like cstimer and I have had no issues with it
Its a good timer, no issues. I would recommend!
Good timer I got the mat that attaches to it and they work great!
First week I got it I thought it was a good Tim er I wanted to go to a comp it was the best tim re I like it
Package arrived on time, a gift so has not been used yet.
Pros:
Bluetooth!
Great design!
Cons:
The app it uses isn't very useful
Only clicks onto one mat with a weird design.
I got it during a sale, I suggest you do the same.
Very nice timer. The average time feature is cool too. Works great with Gan Cube Station too. I'm happy with the purchase
The timer works as expected, and works well with the GAN app. Though I am giving it 4 stars because some of the non-slip pads came missing, and the left side of the blue light is dimmer than the right side. I assume that's why it was on sale, but it still works great nontheless!
This timer is such a time saver, it easily can connect to csTimer and I can practice for competitions without having to type in my times every time. Super intuitive to use and very durable.
I’ve never owned a stack mat timer before, so I was very excited to get this.
The product has a lite, cheap feel, but for the price what can you expect.
The Bluetooth is easy to set up and can connect straight to CStimer, which is great!
I have noticed one in every 25-50 solves the timer won’t register my hands the first time. Like I said this is my first stack mat timer, but I don’t believe this is human error. Unfortunately, this did cost me a PB, but what are you gonna do.
If you are on a budget like me I’d recommend this one, however, if you have more to spend I recommend getting something else. I’ve done a couple thousand solves on it so far, but I'm sceptical on whether or not it will make it through more than a year or two, given the cheap feel.
Overall it does what it’s supposed to do and I’m happy with it!
Got everything I wanted 👍👍👍
Grandson absolutely loves it! He is trying to get his times down and this was exactly what he wanted!
it works really well. i think its better than a stackmat timer, its also cheaper than a stackmat timer
This was my very first Stackmat timer and i got to say its really!!
I've had this timer for quite a while and it's been working very well. It connects to the cubestation app as well as cstimer. Overall, very good piece of hardware.
This timer has been very accurate and kind on batteries. I chose this one because I liked its more modern look and it was far cheaper than the other fan timer
i like it but after one day the batteries died and it is not the best
This timer has lasted me years, and even though I sometimes still drop cubes on it like I did when I was starting (when I finished a solve). It has a few scratches on it, otherwise, it holds up very well. It has precision down to the .000-second mark, but sometimes I feel like its delayed by about .055 seconds (which does not matter much but bugs me)
First of all, for the price, it's amazing! However, for whatever reason, the timer didn't lock a second after stopping and you could still accidentally reset it. Also, there is no point in the bluetooth app at all if you don't own a GAN smart cube. However, it's a great timer. It easily gets the job done and I have been using it for about a year now. I don't have any complaints for its timing so by all means, go buy it! GAN did a great job and deserve the respect.
This worked just like your average day stackmat! I love that it can connect to cubestation and work with my Gan 356 I3 smartcube. Instead of holding 3 records like the original stackmat, it can hold 5 records and an AO5. I like the design more than the speedstacks stackmat too. I think that it is overall better, and would really recommend!
The timer itself works great and fits like a glove on the mats. My issue is the “smart” part of this only works with the smart cubes. It was easy to connect to the app but pretty useless.
The GAN timer works perfectly and looks great hen it glows up.
This Gan timer is excellent! I ordered this with the mat and have no complaints about the shipping. The timer itself is comfortable when used and fits perfectly in the Gan timer mat. However, the "smart" part of it shouldn't be hyped. The app connected fine but there are no features you can use. This is because this was primarily made for Gan's smart cubes and not the timer. Other than that, the "freeze" for 1 second after a solve doesn't work AT ALL for me. It literally resets without a break to look at. All in all, for the price, I definitely recommend this timer over a speed stacks and am really happy with the purchase. So go buy this amazing timer today!
Its a sleek design and its nice packing a Straight bar rather than a weird boomerang, the timing seems to be quite accurate, but the reason I wouldn't recommend it is the averaging... I finally figured it out, and it seems that while it works, it doesn't factor minutes as a minute... Like if you get 3, 50 second times and 2, 1 minute times, it doesn't count 1 minute, it averages 100 seconds... Like reading the number without a colon... So it gave me a 72 which is not only not my average, it's actually longer than any of my individual times... And other than that averaging issue, this might be a personal issue, but i can't find the app whatsoever, all the links pull up errors and the blinking Bluetooth icon is something that can annoy some people quite a bit...
