I’m pretty new to cubing, and the GAN i4 has honestly been the best thing I could have picked up to learn with. Notation was one of the first things that confused me, and this cube made it easy to understand by teaching it to me step by step while I turned the actual cube in my hands.
Where it really shines is learning algorithms. As I’m working through CFOP and F2L, the cube follows along with every move, and if I make a mistake, it tells me to go back. Instead of scrambling the whole cube and having to start over, I can fix the mistake right there and keep going. That alone has made practicing way less frustrating and helped me learn a lot faster than I would have on my own.
Aside from the smart features, the cube itself feels amazing. It turns smoothly, and I added a little bit of lube that made it feel even better. Even though I own other cubes, I keep reaching for this one, and it’s become my main.
If you’re a beginner trying to learn notation and algorithms, I’d highly recommend the GAN i4. It’s a great cube on its own, and the learning features make it worth it.
