Customers praised this budget 2x2 for being "buttery and fast" with excellent value at around $4. Many said it's "smooth" with "decent corner cutting" and "great for beginners." However, some reported durability issues including popping, breaking, and difficulty reassembling. The non-magnetic design and sticker logo were noted limitations. Setup and lubrication significantly improve performance.
- The cube is so buttery and fast at $8 cad this is amazing
- This cube works incredibly well given the price it sells for
- You actually cant go wrong with this cube for 4 dollars

For the price I’ll give it a 10/10, yes it has no magnets no uv coting, but overall it’s a great beginner 2x2 to start speed solving, the kids like it. I got the Macaron version on a gift set

Good budget 2x2 amazing turns
Pretty good looking cube best recommendation ever cannot wait to get this pretty cube, but it’s not really good for speeding, but it’s OK
This cube works incredibly well given the price it sells for, and I think that performance is quite similar to a magnetic one. This cube is the perfect balance of speed and controllability, which is exceptional because it just doesn’t have magnets. I think that this would make a great starter cube for any beginner and a good backup cube for any expert.
This cube is okay but mine broke in about a month and could be fixed. I bought this because I thought it would be good for its price but it turned out to not be that good. I recommend the magnetic version of this!
Awesome 2x2 for the price, everything works well, I used a knock off 2x2 from amazon and it fell apart, this almost feels as good as the gan 2x2, for basically 1/6 the price, only complaint is that the logo is a sticker. Come on, MoYu!!
I had an excellent experience ordering my MoYu 4x4 from SpeedCubeShop. The ordering process was smooth and straightforward, with detailed product information that made it easy to choose the right cube. I also appreciate the setup options and clear descriptions, which show how much SpeedCubeShop understands cubers’ needs.
My order shipped very quickly and arrived sooner than expected. The cube was packaged securely and arrived in perfect condition. Right out of the box, the MoYu 4x4 felt amazing—smooth, fast, and very controllable. It was clear that care was taken in the setup, as the cube didn’t require any immediate adjustments to perform well.
Performance-wise, this MoYu 4x4 really stands out. The turning is extremely smooth with excellent corner cutting and minimal catching, even during fast solves. The layers stay well-aligned, and the cube feels stable without being too tight. It handles both fast turning and precise finger tricks very well, which is especially important on a 4x4.
Overall, I’m very impressed with both the MoYu 4x4 and SpeedCubeShop’s service. Between the fast shipping, great packaging, and high-quality setup, this was a fantastic purchase. SpeedCubeShop continues to be my go-to cubing store, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable cubes and excellent customer service. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again.
This is my first 2x2. Although it isn't magnetic, I still love this cube. It turns amazing out of the box, like a flagship cube. It's the best meilong MoYu has released!
good
Good for beginners but not really made for speedcubing
the logo is a sticker, but it preforms pretty well.
The Cube is good, and the brand is good. This is a good 2x2 with no magnets for cheap.
The magnetic version is better, but this is a good starting point
Works really well for the price. Corner cuts surprisingly well and is pretty fast
This was my first 2x2 cube, it was amazing. Thank you speed cube shop!
Exactly what I wanted. I'm not a pro or anything but moves smoothly and is satisfying to run through algorithms. Well priced, great starter cube.
Turns very easily loving it
Nice pretty fast
You actually cant go wrong with this cube for 4 dollars, it has a solid feel with pretty good corner cutting and speed, my only complaints with the cube are cheap feeling plastic and it being loud, however the loudness can be minimized with good setup, overall the price makes this cube one of the best Ive found.
Got it because I wanted a stickered black plastic to display for my collection of other AxBxC cube/cuboids of the same look. Turning is terrible compared to other cubes but corner cuts better than I'd expected. Didn't try to lube it since it's for display.
4 stars
Fell apart
Great turning
It’s fine if you want the cheapest 2x2 out there but if you’re looking for performance this isn’t the best option.
This cubes main issue is its corner cutting. It definitely needs to be improved on.
Fine for the price
If you loosen it enough to be good it ends up being uncontrollable but if you tighten it it catches to much
This cube turns very well.
Turns nicely it’s just really loud and the stickers come off easily
I got it for Christmas and it’s really loud it doesn’t have great corner cutting it’s also pretty slow but you get for what you pay plus a bit more. My old Gan 251 M Pro broke but it’s still better then this cube (it was $36) so you get your moneys worth.
