Customers praised this speed cube for exceptional smoothness, controllability, and fast turning with excellent corner cutting. The intuitive adjustment system and UV coating received high marks. Many said it became their "new main" cube. Some noted durability concerns with center caps breaking and pieces feeling fragile. A few found it too tight or slow on higher settings.
- Corner cutting is HUGE and really smooth. Performance is great and very well valued cube.
- Smoothest cube ever owned. So smooth out of the box and maintains that smoothness.
- Best cube I've ever owned! Highly recommend!
- 5 stars: 32 (80%)
- 4 stars: 4 (10%)
- 3 stars: 3 (8%)
- 2 stars: 1 (3%)
- 1 star: 0 (0%)
The cube WAS good, but while I was just eatin some cereal while doing some solves, the stem on the inside of the center cap snapped off, then it exploded :(
Out of the box extremely dry and scratchy so lube is a must. After that it’s a good cube, very tactile and fast. Still missing that premium feel you get from a GAN though. Also after 3 weeks of use, while corner cutting, the red center cap completely broke off of its stem so my cube is broken. 7/10 cube but clearly not very quality
This cube was immediately my new main after I put Martian Lube in and adjusted it to my liking.
Pros:
- New numbered adjustment system
- Great performance out of the box
- Nice unboxing experience
- Extremely hard to corner twist or pop
- Almost no lockups
- Great reverse corner-cutting
- Very light
- UV coating for good grip
- Core magnets allow auto-alignment
- Comes with a nice case/box to protect the cube
- MoYu logo is printed rather than a sticker
Cons:
- Sometimes uncontrollable
- Forward corner-cutting is not so good
- UV coating sometimes makes it feel sticky
It's hard to find more things I don't like about this cube.
Whether you are new to cubing or very experienced, I recommend this cube to anyone.
The cube feels great. Weaker more natural magnet feeling, great corner cutting, and I love how hard it is to corner twist it even on the loosest setting. Not a big fan of the new adjustment system though. cube is still super fast on the highest compression. To fix this I tried putting in weight 5 and cosmos but it was too still fast. All of the settings felt pretty much the same. I am not sure If I got a defective one, but overall I like the old adjustment system.
The Worm V10 is like no other cube I have felt before. It turns smooth like the river and feels like an extension of my fingers, executing my moves flawlessly. It is a loyal pet I mean cube to have around and will always return to its happy state, like it's magnetic, that is, when it is with its owner. Also, the cube is so fast it can even turn by itself!
out of the box the cube is pretty clacky kind of feels like a blank canvas to customise with lube if u can get this under 40$CAN this is a absolute steal new main
Bought this cube when it was discounted, must say, I got quite a deal. The WeiLong WRM is very nice, has a great feel, and is overall a great cube for me. After using it for a bit, it felt really solid, felt stable and controllable while being fast. I lubed it with some Martian and Nebula for more speed and control, it feels really nice. Definitely pick this up if you want a solid 3x3.
The cube had a great feel and the corner cutting is HUGE and really smooth. The tensioning system was nice because the tensioning system was controlled by the moyu battle axe and you didn't even need to flip the tool. You just have to change directions to change different settings. The UV coating gave the cube a nice grippy feel on the outside. Performance is great and with all this and 33 dollars, it is a very well valued cubed and the best valued cubed on the market in my opinion.
The cube turns really good corner cutting is good the adjustment system is really nice but I was turning it at a pretty normal speed mean I was turning it fast but it is a speedcube so it is supposed to be fast but when I was doing that it exploded and the stem snapped I have also had problems with the caps on the corners coming off
Love the crisp turning which has lead me to some great times but also great consistency!
I bought 6 of the newest and most recommended cubes to see what I’d like. This cube feels the best to me. Smooth and has a quality feel. The MGC beta is a close second. Cheap too.
Fantastic shipping times and prompt fulfillment of the order. Cube itself is great as well - it's fast, airy, and performance is super consistent.
I was a strong lover of the Ys3m ball core, and after it broke after two long years I decided to try one of Moyu's newer releases. I bought this cube, and despite its drastically different feel from the Ys3m, I immediately realized its main potential.
Unlike other Moyu cubes, the v10 is light, airy, and hollow. The pieces do not carry as much momentum as Moyu's other releases, but its fast and airy feel made up for it. I could turn faster with less effort than other cubes that I've tried.
Out of the box, this cube is extremely dry and fast. It is also EXTREMELY loud. If you solve frequently in places like work or school, the v10's clacky sound will cause a disturbance to others. After setup, however, the cube becomes a lot smoother and less dry. The sound becomes a lot more muffled with lube, but it is still there.
After setup, this cube turns smooth and fast, and the new adjustment system is extremely intuitive and easy to use. I put several drops of Martian and a small sliver of weight 5 on the tracks, and I set both adjustment settings to 4. I found this setup to be the best, as it keeps the cube's natural speed while keeping it smooth and controllable.
The v10's corner cutting can be a bit difficult at 45 degrees on tighter settings, but the small cuts are almost effortless and completely unnoticeable in solves. Aggressive turning is not always accepted by this cube, however. I found that when I was turning hard, this cube catched a bit. However, lockups are very minor and infrequent, causing me to get amazing times on this cube with careful turning.
In all, the weilong v10 is an amazing release by Moyu, but its airy feel and loud noise may not be suitable for people who turn very hard. On the other hand, people who enjoy moderate-strength magnets and naturally fast cubes will find themselves extremely happy with this puzzle.
It turns amazingly (great alignment and corner cutting). The adjustment system is also nice. The UV Coating also feels nice. The looks are good too. Sounds a bit like crinkling plastic wrap without lube, but easily fixed to sound nice.
I have had an old Rubik's brand cube for years. Decided to get a proper speed cube and ordered the Weilong V10. Man why did I wait so long. This thing is so much more satisfying to solve on. If you are on the fence about the price, just do it. So worth every penny.
I purchased this cube to learn how to cube with my son. After trying GAN and the RS3+, he loved this one the most. Spins easy and the UV coating looked great.
I really like this cube but the cube is a little slow so I might have bought the maglev if I would have known. Right now I am using the gan 15 and it so much more enjoyable.
Awesome service as always!
Its just the best.
Using this as my first main cube and love it.
Still relatively new to cubing so have set it with the max magnets.
Excellent! My 11 y/o son is a speed cuber and he loves this!
I was comparing it to GAN 15 and tornado v4 the GAN was very similar in speed but the v10 was a tad bit more stable the tornado v4 was smooth it just corner twisted a little bit to much (also wasn’t UV) there for I chose the v10
I HAVE SOME GREAT INFO, SO READ ALL OF THIS!!!!!!
ADJUSTMENTS:
I only bumped up the compression to 3, making **** depth 1 and compression 3. I love the new adjustment system, where its gets rid of the ****. The adjustment system is very responsive, and you can pinpoint how you like your cube.
FEEL/PREFORMANCE:
My cube is set on the more "flexible" side, but I laugh at calling it flexible. This is a very blocky cube, and it corners are very sharp, like the Gan cubes. Now, just cause its blocky doesn't mean it can't corner-cut. It corner-cuts just a LITTLE less than the v9 on the settings I have it on. The cube is the most stable cube I have ever set my hands on. Under no circumstances will this cube deform, actually, I would say it's impossible to lock up or deform this cube. Which can be good and bad at once. Keep reading to see why. The cubes internals feel similar to the v9, and by that, I just mean whatever lube you put in it, it will do the same as the v9. The only exception is I feel as if this cube gets more gunky over time, probably because of the big ball core.
RECOMENDATIONS/PERSONAL THOUGHTS:
This is how I feel. I feel like the v9 and v10 are Either/Or cubes. What do I mean by that? If you didn't like the v9 (Or any other fast, flexible cubes) then you must like the v10, which is a stable, tighter, more controllable cube. So, you see that if you buy both of these, one will be your main. Either a:
Lose, flexible, controllable, tactile V9, OR THE
Tight, compact, super stable, V10
OVERALL:
So you might be thinking, "Oh, the v10 is more controllable, I should skip the v9 and get this." (Or if you already have the v9 and like it and think this one is supposed to be better) Then I will spare you the trouble. I personally think the v10 is the first cube I have ever touched that is too stable. I think it's inflexibility and smaller range of corner cutting doesn't fit my turning style. I enjoy and have better performance on the flexible, controllable v9. And NOTE: I recived the v9 and v10 on the same day, for the first time in November. I was not originally biased to the v9 like everyone else was. I ran a series of trials on both and found that I like the v9 more. BUT PLEAS KNOW THAT BOTH ARE OUTSTANDING CUBES!!!!!!!!!!!!. If my v9 broke, I would instantly main the v10. (Or the Hudong) I don't want to tear your hopes apart for this cube. I was just reviewing on what my experience with both the v9 and v10 was. I know many people who enjoy and have mained the v10. In fact, I almost mained the V10 myself! They are both amazing cubes, if not the two best Flagships cubes in the world!
To those who are kinda curious and are thinking of buying it: You won't regret it. If you don't buy it, you will always have doubts in the back of your head wondering if this cube could have been your main. EXPIRIANCE THE WEILONG V10!!
If you could take anything from this review, just know the v10 is not an upgrade from the v9. It is a whole different cube. More like Gancube and MoYu had a baby. GAYu V1 more like it lol
(P.S, if you read this whole review, pat yourself on the back. You are defiantly interested in this cube, so go buy it!!!!!!!)
I bought this cube expecting it to just add to my collection but after doing some solves with it, it has probably become my main. The best part is probably the smoothness. This cube is so smooth out of the box and is able to maintain that smoothness for long practice sessions. The only minor complaint I have is that the pieces seem a bit fragile, but that might just be because I drop my cubes a lot. Every other part of this cube is perfect. 10/10 would recommend.
