A challenging 3x3 shape mod puzzle praised for its beautiful designs (especially galactic pattern) and smooth turning. Customers said it's "insanely challenging" and "fun to solve," though many noted center pieces fall out easily and the mechanism locks up frequently. Quality concerns include pieces popping off and difficulty reassembling. Best for experienced cubers seeking a challenge beyond standard 3x3s.
- Insanely challenging! I've been speed cubing for 6 years and it still took me hours to solve!
- Smooth turning, beautiful galactic image, lightweight, stickerless - happy I bought this one!
- Really crazy to wrap your head around. It is solvable but you have to use outside the box thinking.

- 3 stars: 5 (10%)

I got this cube and from the start it was a mind bending challenge gradually it became easier and now I solve it in about 5 mins. The cube locks up sometimes but it’s just a great puzzle!
Just as described. Well designed, good quality cube. My child loves it!
Pros:
-Smooth turning
-beautiful image (galactic)
-light weight
-stickerless
-I like the white backside for each piece
Cons:
-I wonder if it might have actually been easier if I chose the solid black because while the galactic pattern is gorgeous, it kind of makes it harder to see the piece shape. However, with practice this should get easier (I am new to the ghost cube).
Overall I am happy I bought this one!
This is a fun puzzle to solve, but it does catch a lot. (This might be unavoidable due to the unusual piece shapes.) I bought the stickered variation, but from the pictures the Galactic variation also looks very cool. Overall, this is a good choice if you want a challenge beyond 3x3 and Mirror Cube.
The center pieces fall out easily, which seems to be common with ghost cubes.
I recommend gluing the center pieces before use, even at the cost of losing the ability to adjust the tension.
The Galactic version lets you identify all six faces by color, so it is good practice before solving a single-color ghost cube.
Great cube I like it and it’s a fun challenge for cubers.
Rlly hard to solve but i like it turns good and fair price
this cube is insanely challenging!!!!! I highly recommend buying it I've been speed cubing for like 6 years now and it still took me hours to solve!
I bought this puzzle after seeing some ghost cube videos on youtube. I bought the white version with black stickers. Honestly, I was a little disappointed with how cheap the puzzle feels, but the price reflects that I suppose. I wish someone would make a more premium version of this puzzle.
As a puzzle, it's very challenging and unique and one worth adding to your collection.
I've solved multiple 3x3 shape mods and really like the axis cube, but this cube is just plain hard to solve. Edges are so confusing by design (which is fun to figure out) and sometimes the cube locks up mid algorithm. That's my only complaint with this cube, the turning is pretty rough and the center caps on my cube fall out super easily.
This thing fell apart while I was turning it as intended
Amazing came in perfect condition accidentally scrambled it also slips in your hands. Overall great and tricky shape mod.
Beautiful cube, high quality
The centre pieces keep falling out.
It's a little bit expensive for what you get, especially the solid black version but I genuinely enjoyed solving this puzzle. Currently it's probably my favorite puzzle to relax and take my time with that's outside of the Minx family. The turning is smooth, just don't count on being able to corner cut or you're gonna have a bad time. I'd recommend being careful with how you hold it. It tends to slip out of your hands much like a skewb if you're not prepared.
It was a lot of fun to have to think my way through this puzzle. It's nowhere near as hard as figuring out the Puppet 2 (nor as good of value), but it still forced me to think a little differently without getting frustrating. It felt a lot like learning how to cube all over again. I think I might have to buy the single color, non-galaxy version as well for the added challenge.
Overall I'd say 4-stars is fair based on the high price, decent quality, and the amount of fun I had with this puzzle.
The ghost cube is probably my top candidate as the next puzzle I magnetize to help with alignment and negate some of the total lack of corner cutting. I'd say the price would be fair if it was for a magnetic version. However, unlike with most other puzzles, I feel like for the ghost cube that's part of the challenge so I'll probably keep a non-magnetic one kicking around.
This cube falls apart too easily. You have to be way to carful and slow to keep it together.
Tingman solved it it should be a WCA event
I was able to successfully solve it, but the rotation of the center pieces threw me off a little bit. The galactic pattern looks amazing and it turns smooth. It locks up a bit and is awkward to hold onto at times which seems to be normal given that the edges have to line up. Corner cutting is definitely not recommended. This is very challenging for a 3x3 mod and took some time to solve!
The Ninja Ghost Cube is a good challenging puzzle and turns great for what essentially is a copy of another great cube, not without it's faults that is. The center pieces fall very easily, even if I use the cube very carefully. This problem might be just me, but one of the stickers was positioned badly and quickly fell of, which sucks. Still a good buy, but be careful of these things before buying.
Works amazing! Thanks!
Got the galactic version. Great cube super fun and great turning. Would really love a magnetic version though.
Today i received ninja ghost cube Galactic and Green ,its smooth and looks awesome. No second thought go for it, for sure you will have some good time on it.
this is a great cube,
I would recommend it to anyone looking at buying it.
but will take a little while to get your head round it
This is a great concept. And the transparent red cube is very pretty, looks like an inflorescence of ruby crystals when messed up. However, it is so locky, that it is very difficult to do algorithms. It often jams turning and won't turn that way. So you get stuck and loose where you were. This would be great to have very strong magnets to line things up so it locked into good orientation for turning. Helps a little to hold it by the "middles", and to be very meticulous about the rotations, but still way too easy to jam. I can do a 3x3 in under a minute easily, this thing takes forever, mostly due to restarts after jams. Even the worst cubes or void cubes turn better.
Also, the "middle" pieces kept popping off, so I super glued them. When multiple popped at once, had to take it apart and put it back together "solved", to make sure the right middles ended up in the correct positions, or it would be unsolvable. Set the tensions with the screws, then glued the caps. Now it turns much better and the middles don't pop off. But can no longer adjust the tension.
Like a picture cube, the middle rotations matter.
Overall pretty cool, vicious and beautiful. But could be much better implemented. A fast turning one of these with magnets and a little corner cutting, would be awesome.
i got the green one since thats my favorite color. even knowing that it solves like a 3x3 i could not solve it. hurts my brain! dont put the center caps on wrong. i solved it once with much help and have since added it to my display collection.
It is a really challenging 3x3 where all the pieces are different shapes and it doesn't solve into a cube but rather the layers are offset. It's a fun but frustrating challenge. The build quality is horrible however and centerpieces just fall out. The first time I tried solving it all the centers fell out and I ended up putting them back in wrong so it was impossible to solve after spending several days on it.
I have this brand ghost cube (bought from a different vendor) and I'm glad I managed to solve it once in the several weeks I owned it before it fell apart completely. The screws are practically stripped on arrival. It's very hard to put back together even if the screws didn't let go and pop out with the least pressure, and impossible to put back together when they do.
It would be a fun puzzle if you weren't paying for poorly made garbage that falls apart completely before you can solve it a second time. Avoid.
its no speed cube, but i like the rigidity, it adds to the challenge, and tests your knowledge of your algorithms!
Galactic looks very nice. The internals are still white but they really don’t show. It gets caught on turns sometimes, but it’s to be expected of a novelty cube.
