QiYi 1x3x3

I didn't buy it specifically off here but it is the same puzzle so this applies still. This cube has really cool qualities like shape shifting, but its turning feels very unstable and its hard to turn at certain points. If you don't mind having a puzzle that is kind of hard to turn, then it is still a fun puzzle to solve.

Shapeshifts, creates an unexpected twist. Edges can rotate if properly misaligned, subtracting some difficulty. Turns relatively well

I love this puzzle, but it's quirks have really brought it's rating down. The puzzle has had its inner thin edge pieces fall out multiple times, and then the whole puzzle falls apart. I love its shape shifting, but the design of the puzzle makes it catch very often. I tried lubing it with cosmos lube (good lube by the way!!) and it made it fall apart more and turn worse. Although i take the blame for lubing it, it feels like the puzzle sacrificed stability for shapeshifting. A version that is very stable (like the 1x2x3) that doesn't need to shapeshift would probably be a better choice for me. Overall, the puzzle's concept is nice. Easy for beginners; all the way through. But I am a bit disappointed in this puzzle's design and hope it is upgraded in the future.

This puzzle is simple, but fun. Sometimes has difficulty turning but still well made.

I'm not entirely new to cubing, but let's just say I'm new enough to where you probably are better than me. I got this, knowing it could shapeshift, and knowing what it does. I had no trouble solving it, so if you do other things (2x2, 3x3, 4x4,) this shouldn't be much of a challenge for you. I guess the best way I can describe the turning is it feels like a rubik's 2x2, but it turns like an unlubed cube. It doesn't turn like the rubik's 2x2, it just feels like one. This is honestly a little bit worse than I expected, but I don't regret anything at all. This is a great fidget toy, and I love picking it up every one in a while! I recommend not watching a tutorial, as it is fun and challenging to figure out. Get it. Not that many problems.

i discovered i could make this thing shape shift and theres nothing regarding that in the instructions it comes with. its very easy to solve and fun to play around with from time to time. i like it.

Pretty good.

I got this and a 1x2x3 having never solved a cube before. The 1x2x3 was way too easy and honestly a waste of money. This 1x3x3 though is a nice sweet spot for a new beginner to play around and feel slightly challenged, while still able to accomplish repeatedly. I played with it for about 20 minutes before going on to larger cube puzzles. I could definitely see myself occasionally picking this up and happily fidgeting with it.

this is a fun novelty puzzle. not a whole lot to it and pretty easy to get bored with. it fell between my desk and the wall and i havent bothered to retrieve it. if price isnt an issue. get the fidget spinner version.

It's a pretty simple and a easy cube for beginners. I give this a 4star rating because it's structs a little sometime. Definitely a worthy item to buy :)

If you buy black, the layers are not very smooth and it catches.

It’s very fun but a little catchy and that’s why it’s not five stars.

It’s easy to solve beginners should get it and I really like it has a downside about it it locks a little bit but if the layers are aligned correctly the layers right it will not lock

It locks up a lot which is okay knowing it isn’t a speed cube. Fine to solve even thought it’s very easy

I liked solving it and it is one of the puzzles you don’t have to search on YouTube and I enjoyed teaching myself it. The only problem I had with it is it caught a lot and I couldn’t solve it so fast because of that but otherwise buy it

My 17th twisty puzzle, and I didn’t really have high hopes for this. I’m a casual cuber, but I was worried this would pop or break after a while. NOPE! I was COMPLETELY wrong! This cube has one of the best feelings I’ve ever experienced, and that’s compared to my GANS 356 Air Pro, which I lubricated with Martian. Yet despite its good turning quality, it feels very stable. Not much else to say. If Super Floppy became an event (please, WCA🥺), this would be my main. Thanks, speedcubeshop and QiYi! You guys make great puzzles!
