This speed cube delivers "super smooth" turning with exceptional corner cutting out of the box. Customers praised the ball-core technology, strong magnets, and controllability, calling it "amazing" for beginners and competitors. However, some reported corner twists occur easily and one found tension adjustment challenging.
- Super smooth, crazy good corner cutting, and the magnets make everything feel locked in.
- This cube turns incredible out of the box and it is really fast yet controllable.
- Very controllable and fast at the same time! After adding lube, this cube became buttery smooth!

While using my friends cube (this model), the core broke within 3 days and had to be manually adjusted to go back. Wouldn't recommend this one for QiYi!
It is a little rough to turn at first but it is smooth when it is lubed and broken in. It’s easy to adjust it just is difficult to tell what setting of tension you have it on. the only way you can tell if it is the loosest is when it drops you can’t tell when it’s at its peak or in the middle of its tension settings.
This cube turns incredible out of the box and it is really fast yet controllable. Honestly, if they added UV coating, this could easily be a pro level speed cube.
For the value this is the best 2x2 you can get. it has fast smooth turning with great corner cutting
The turning is super smooth and fast, sort of like an airy blocky feel. Sometimes I experience minor catching when reverse corner cutting, and corner twists are relatively easy. The magnets are at a pretty decent strength that isn’t too strong but definitely helps. Overall, this 2x2 is definitely a great option that can give great times.
Great cube love how it corner cuts i will be using this in compotition all the time great cube overall 5 stars
I love this cube! The corner cutting is AMAZING, the colors are so bright, and the adjustmets work very well. The only problem I have with it is the corners twist kinda easily, but its not too bad.
My first 2x2 and it’s good. Wonderful corner cutting and speed out of the box and it’s affordable. Recommend for beginners or just for anyone.
My first 2x2 cube and it’s amazing. Recommended for beginners.
This cube is actually insane. Super smooth, crazy good corner cutting, and the magnets make everything feel locked in and controllable. Feels amazing right out of the box—no setup needed. Easily one of the best cubes I’ve used.
this cube was fast and easy to turn and improved my times well. although it's not my main anymore, i still love using it for cubing and solving
amazing cube i love qiyi for all they do including this cube. overall, good cube
This thing is amazing! I really needed a replacement cube for CT champs and now instead of a temporary cheap ‘crappy’ cube, i have a nice speedy main. Beginners, buy it. I love this cube with a passion and budget cubes unceasingly impress me. Good job Qiyi
i honesty don't understand why people recommended this to me its tight and if you loosen it. it falls apart. I've lost pieces and just cant stand how tight it is
only thing i like: quiet
Good starter cube. With a bit of lube, it is a very fast-turning and controllable cube with decent corner-cutting. I would very much recommend.
I did not know 2x2's had ball cores. The cube also turns well and feels good.
The cube is smooth to turn and the magnets are strong
amazing cube great feel
I recently got the ball core version of this cube for $16 CAD. The cube is very smooth, controllable and doesn’t lock up a ton. Occasionally I get corner twists, but other than that it’s great. If you want a good cube for 2x2 and you don’t want to break the bank this is a good option.
This cube is like the Gan 251 m pro on a budget. This cube will not be my main, but I think it is better than the mgc and the rs2m. Great for beginners.
Better than Mgc elite and feels so stable and smooth corner twists a lot tho still worth it for only $11
a great 2x2 for beginners It's cheap it is amazing I can tell you because I got a 6 sec solve on it really good magnets and adjustment system I really prefer it as it's my only 2x2 but minor lockups both versions are great but I preferred the ball core.
This cube is very controllable and fast at the same time! After adding some cosmic lube, this cube became buttery smooth! Also, this cube is very quiet.
If you are looking for a budget 2×2 with ballcore, then this cube is the perfect choice!!!!
Out of the box, it was already awesome. Very little factory lube was in the cube, which made things much easier to customize, and the adjustment system, though derivative from its competitor, the RS2M Evo, was helpful.
The corner cutting was over 45 degrees forward and very generous reverse, more than the MGC. I would attribute this to the ball-core, but it makes such a minute difference that I feel as if it is just barely worth the extra couple bucks, adding a tiny bit of stability. The magnets are not too strong, not too weak, and since the two corner magnets are closer together than in the MS, it has less of that "bumpy" feel.
Pieces do not wobble around like they do on the M Pro 3x3 when turning, and stability is comparable to the YJ MGC Elite, second only to the Valk (we miss you, Valk 2.) Yet, with the adjustment system, flexibility is controllable and you can change between a little bit flexy to a brick (in a good way.)
I have no real problems with this cube, and I think that the only real issue is the dark green even though the difference in recognition is negligible unless cubing in low light. It's a good price, with good features, and is a great blank canvas for lube setup as well as having decent factory defaults. I highly recommend this cube for beginners and advanced solvers alike, and it is my choice over the RS2M Evo and the YJ MGC. I think it is worth the extra few dollars over the QiYi MS for this cube
I super happy
