Customers praised this puzzle for its smooth turning and satisfying click mechanism. "Turns smooth and has a nice clicking mechanism," noted one reviewer. The vibrant stickerless colors and budget-friendly performance impressed shoppers. However, some experienced occasional locking and turning reluctance, with a few finding magnets too strong.

  • Surprisingly smooth and snappy for its price. Great choice for beginners and intermediate solvers.
  • Turning is still very smooth. Vibrant colors make it look good and easy to use.
  • The colors are really nice and the plastic feels good. There is a good snap to each turn.

Stickerless
Love it!

This cube is so much fun. A step up from the 3x3 pyraminx.

Good

There is some turning reluctance even with applied lubricant. But the scale is done well and it's a very fun puzzle, most literally the interest shake of a Pyraminx without the numbing simplicity.

snappy cube

I really like how the pieces snap into place after a turn. This puzzle is not too dificult to solve.

A Budget Pyraminx That Performs Like a Flagship

The QiYi MS Pyraminx is surprisingly smooth and snappy for its price. The magnets are strong enough to keep everything aligned but not so strong that they slow you down. The turning feels crisp, and the tips have a satisfying click. It’s a great choice for beginners and intermediate solvers alike.

Great Design

The plastic pieces fit tightly and perfectly together, but the turning is still very smooth. It holds its shape well and has vibrant colors that make it look good and easy to use. If you hold the puzzle by its centerpieces while turning, you wont have an issue with locking. Not sure why people are claiming it locks up. Corner cutting seems pretty good

Really locky, but it’s my fault, saw this and thought it was a newer model. Nope! All good thought and that’s why I’m not giving such a bad review, really fun to solve

My kid is excited!

Got this as a gift for my 12 year old, he is excited to learn a Master Pyramix, so far he's been solving a regular pyramix. It feels very smooth, he likes it on first couple tries!

Great

Turns smooth and has a nice clicking mechanism, it occasionally locks up but that fine and it comes factory lubed so make sure to wipe it off of the surface.

I really love the stickerless thing, it makes the cubes look futurist, but overall i loved the cube, and if you are collecting cubes, it's a great addition to the collection :)

almost perfect

only cons are it locks up (but not that often) and depending on what you like the magnets might be a little too strong

Awesome Challenge

A unique challenge for any cuber. Thankfully, It's not too difficult. I have to say that the colors are really nice in person and the plastic feels good in the hand too. There is a good snap to each turn and you could definitely speed solve this if it becomes an official puzzle.

Fun puzzle

This is a good puzzle that is fun to solve and if you know how to solve a normal pyraminx there is a chance that you could find out how to do it without help if you would spend the time but it may take some time

Awesome puzzle!

Amazing puzzle! The turning is outstanding and you don’t need to worry about re-snickering bc it’s stickerless. Would 100% recommend this puzzle

Pretty Good!

The puzzle is quite fun, it was a new challenge that wasn't terribly hard. The way things clicked together wasn't obnoxious and sounded satisfying in a way. Despite the 5 stars I'm giving this puzzle there's one downside, there are spring noises that you should try to fix. Once you do that it's a puzzle without many problems.

Fun puzzle to solve, not to speed solve

A fun challenge, but poorly made

Wow

I got a master pyraminx of a similar price before, but these two cubes could hardly even compare. The precious one had had a quite scratchy feel (and not in a good way.) It was also the size of a standard pyraminx. However, this one turned smoothly and fluently, in a way that I could actually speed solve. It's also a bit larger, which makes more sense when you display it on a shelf. Overall this is and amazing master pyraminx, and I would highly suggest purchasing it if you like the added challenge of a higher order puzzle.

A Masterful Master Pyraminx!

I have been solving this in stickerless for a while and just about everything impresses me on it! The colors are easy to tell apart under even dim lighting. The click mechanism (bumps instead of ball bearings) yields nice feedback and stability in keeping the layers together. The clicks are pretty even across all layers except the tips, which seem a tad lighter in their click yet still stay in place while you solve the rest. That may be good or bad depending on your preference. Personally I prefer it because the tips don't have as much surface area to push which makes it easier to get them in place. It's turning is buttery smooth (between the points it snaps in and out of place of course) yet has good control in that there's a bit of tension so it doesn't overshoot. It also can corner cut of which I did my best to get it to a point where it won't pop or lose a lot of click yet yields maximum cutting. Forward cuts are around 30 degrees or so, which isn't too shabby. Reverse cutting is "maybe" 5 degrees at most. Not much, but helps too. Just experiment until you get to what seems most consistent for what you prefer. Said corner cutting is probably the weakest part of the whole puzzle as I think it would be possible to make a mechanism that yields a bit more, but that's not saying much in regards to any negative side because it never seems like you need a lot of corner cutting due to how easy it is to get the layers in line. So this puzzle is a winner and I highly recommend it!

Fun but a bit stiff

Probably needs wearing in but it doesn't turn as nicely and easily as some of the regular pyraminx. Might be a problem of the size too. Overall a nice new challenge

Fun

Good job Qiyi!

Qiyi has taken over the Master Pyraminx Market! The cube is built very similarly to the X-man Bell pyraminx and it is fun to solve. Cornercutting and speed aren't the best but it clicks into place with every turn. I love the stickerless version!

Fun Puzzle!

This puzzle is a really fun solve. One thing I would say I don't like about it is it can't corner cut very well. Other than that it is a great puzzle.
