QiYi MS 5x5 (Magnetic)

This 5x5 is smooth and turns nicely. I usually lube the larger cubes, but this is so smooth, it isn't needed.

It turns fantastic, it has a great feel, the colours are great, no popping even when turning fast. Couldn't recommend it more

This 5x5 is my first and only as of right now! when i first got it a saw something that said you have to be careful because it could pop and break but i haven't had any problems with that is the almost 6 months I've had it!

My main 5x5. I don’t do it often, but when I do, I use this. Felt like a ,you cube until I looked it up. Really good quality and has never popped.

Got this for Christmas gift for my nephew. He loved it & stayed playing the different games right away

Turns incredibly fast out the box. It feels SUPER loose and kind of unstable because of how loose it is. If you don't have a problem with loose then I highly recommend

It is cheap and it feels cheap but it’s great for the price. Be warned, if you get the black version gunk gathers up on it.

I have just bought this since it has no logo. So i can use it for 5BLD when i learn 5BLD. And its very cheap!

As a non-cuber who understands cubing terms, this is a pretty good choice for a budget 5x5. The magnets are great, and i even took a look at the core. There was a lot of factory lube, but a good choice for simply just wanting a 5x5.

This 5x5, despite its price, performs extremely well! Out of the box it had factory lube all over it, so I had to wipe that off, but its first turns were amazing. Its turning is really smooth and is very satisfying, and the magnets improve the turning further. It is on the heavier side, but if you aren't going to be solving it many times in succession it should be completely fine. This puzzle rarely locks up; for a budget 5x5 this cube probably has some of the best turning. I would recommend this to anyone who simply wants a 5x5, but isn't too serious about solving fast.

Very heavy cube, not unusably so but not light either. The magnets are a great strength and to its credit, the cube is soo very smooth especially in the inner layers. Green face is a slightly odd shade, otherwise I have no complaints-smooth, good corner cutting, robust and very very few lockups. For its price I'd highly recommend this cube

This 5x5 is too heavy and starts to hurt my fingers after a couple solves I prefer the YJ MGC instead get YJ for all your cubes they are light and inner layers turn like a dream

So I am not a 5x5 solver, but this cube is still great. I was wanting to get into 5x5, saw this cube, and bought it. It comes with a lot of lube out of the box (I mean a lot, it was soaking in lube) but after drying it up, it turned really fast. The corner cutting isn’t very good right away, but loosening it a bit made it way better. Add some Martian and you’re good to go with the best 5x5 I’ve ever solved.

tbh the only thing I don't like about this puzzle are the red and green face. especially the red, since it's a shade slightly darker than likable

This is technically my second 5x5; I had a Rubix brand over a decade ago when I was a kid. That one was honestly impossible to turn and ruined all the fun. This QiYi on the other hand is very impressive, especially considering the price. I'm by no means relatively fast at 5x5 but I can definitely say that it's not the cube holding me back from faster times. If you're looking for an inexpensive 5x5 worth investing in, this is probably the best one.

The cube is really good for its price, one drawback is it dont corner cut that good (cant complain for 15$ cube)
if ur looking for a good budget 5x5, get this!
if you are willing to spend a little more MGC 5x5 is great choice!

For being a budget it is really good.

Purchased this cube because I want to move on to big cubes. It is almost the same size as my 4x4. Turns well right out of the box. I am not a competition cuber but I am very happy with qiyi and their budget line.

This is my first 5x5 and I don’t think I could have gotten a better magnetic budget cube. My first impression of the cube was that it was very dry and it was tight for me, I loosened the screws 3/4 of a full rotation each and used a couple of drops of lunar and maybe Martian. Then it felt really nice with a fast yet gummy and rubbery feeling. The magnets are a little weak for me but they get the job done. Overall an excellent cube and this will be my main for a long time.

I don't have this cube but my friend does and wow is it a great cube. Slight catching issue and I would prefer the inner layers to be a bit lighter on the magnets as it's difficult to do the very middle slice turn but hey that's something called an opinion!
