Not super stable but still a fun cube
It doesn't turn the best, but it's $10 for such a complex puzzle with so many pieces, and overall I still have a lot of fun solving it.
Fun challenge compared to the pyramid which is pretty easy still fun though
Endless fun
Quality is fine I guess but it doesn't like to stay aligned. It feels very slippery to hold because of that. Constantly feels like it's just gonna fall apart, even though it hasn't yet. Needs an interlocking mechanism like magnets or bearings.
It feels cheap and flimsy. No magnets, but I knew that before hand. It turns fine though. But for me I'd have spent more and gotten a better one

The ShengShou Master Pyraminx has a good price, and turns smooth enough not to be frustrating to solve. It does lock up sometimes but it doesn't pop easily. It came slightly greasy, as most ShengShou puzzles come and it can be solved just with intuition provided the cuber can solve a 3x3 and a normal Pyraminx easily. Over all it is a good puzzle for anyone looking for something challenging butt that can be solved without too much knowledge or studying.

This is a great and fun cube. It is easily mobile and can be fun to learn to solve. It's like the pyraminx, only its not... It has more layers which makes it more challenging.

The Shengshou Master Pyraminx is a fun, challenging step up from your standard Pyraminx puzzles. Among its limited competition (the LanLan Master Pyraminx), the Shengshou is the best master pyraminx on the market. But it's far from perfect. The puzzle feels a little unstable and the first one of these I owned would lock up constantly even when not misaligned. It also fell apart easily. My current one does not do that. The puzzle is also smaller than it seems like it should be. It's roughly the size of a standard pyraminx but would benefit from increased size. Overall, your choices aren't numerous, but the Shengshou is the best master pyraminx you can get.
Great puzzle, great colors and good stickers ,there are no ball bearings so the pyraminx can feel a bit unstable if you try to speed solve but let's face it this is a zen puzzle, you have to enjoy the act of the solve with a fun puzzle like this, u might want to pick up some heavier lube to go along with this puzzle as it is dry out of the box and a lighter lube might make the puzzle somewhat unstable due to overshooting.
PS. It might seem that I'm being somewhat negative with the stability of this puzzle but I'm not lol, I'm just warning those looking to speed solve that you might be disappointed.
It turns fine but the tips are bad. It didn't take me very long to learn how to solve so i would recommend it.
The sticker quality is very nice with no bubbles in the stickers and all of them being in the center of the pieces. The color scheme is only so very nice and all the colors go together well. My only problem with the puzzle is slight lock ups when performing algorithms.
The Meffert's curvy pyraminx never had quite the appeal as the flat master pyraminx. Many times I debated buying a custom made copy of this puzzle for several hundred dollars, but I couldn't be more happy that Shengshou produced this puzzle. The turning is flawless, although it would be nice for a clicking mechanism to be in place to keep the layers aligned between turns. Other than that, a must for your collection.
As a pharaoh, pyramid size is really important to me. When I heard about the Master Pyraminx from Shengshou, getting one was just a no-brainer. The added fourth layer really provides valuable space for more subjects and worshippers to fill during the funeral procession of my mummified corpse, not to mention the sun god Ra will definitely look favorably on my notably larger pyramid and ferry me personally to the realm of gods. 5 stars would buy again!
