You might be hesitant to buy something for so much money, but i bought it when it was on sale, and that made it only $8-9 per cube. The cubes are out of the ordinary and very fun to mess around with. I would definitely recommend.

ordered just before it sold out, packaging is beautiful. as of this review i haven't opened any of the individual boxes. as a puzzle collector, i am sure i will enjoy the surprises all the way till Christmas Day

We spring for the advent calendar this year because we thought it would blow our son’s mind. It did. Good variety of puzzles. It did not disappoint.

I mostly love this. (the review has spoilers if you havent opened up until day 18 yet for some reason)
Writing this on day 18. My favorite has to be the ball gear shift. Only complaint? Too many shape mods. Out of the 18 days so far, 9 of them have been 3x3 mods, 2 have been skewb mods, and 2 have been 2x2 mods. Outside of that, the few fully original cubes have been pretty cool. Good for a collector!

Every Day you get a new, non WCA puzzle to learn and solve and it’s so fun and exciting. I Definitely recommend buying this
We bought this for our boys this year as a fun way to countdown to Christmas. We were hesitant, mostly because of the price but also because we already have a LOT of different puzzles, and I was afraid they would just be repeats. We’re on day 9 and so far every puzzle has been unique and new to us. A few solve basically like a 3x3 (although they’ll definitely twist your brain to make you think of them that way) but there have been several totally unique puzzles too. The first thing the boys do in the morning is go see what new puzzle they got, and they have been thrilled with every one. For someone who is REALLY into cubing and puzzles I would say this is an excellent purchase, and worth the price.

This is a good variety of cubes, most of which are great. Only one has popped partially so far, but I just fixed it. I now have a lot more puzzles. It's very exciting opening a new puzzle every day.

Bought this for my 12-year-old son. It is beautifully presented. When I gave it to him on Dec. 1st, he was thrilled. He has very "niche" interests, and no other advent calendar would have appealed to him like this one.
So far, we're only on day 8, but it has been wonderful. Finding his new puzzle has become a motivator for getting out of a warm bed on a cold, dark morning. It brightens his day. Thank you!
We look forward to opening it starting tomorrow. Our son was stunned at how huge it is.
