The WitEden 3x3x9 is honestly a really fun puzzle if you’re into big cuboids and weird-looking solves. Right out of the box, the turning is surprisingly decent for such a tall puzzle, although you shouldn’t expect it to feel anywhere near as smooth as a modern speedcube. The layers can sometimes feel a little stiff, especially when you’re trying to line everything up after shape-shifting the puzzle.
One thing to keep in mind: this is NOT a speedsolving puzzle. If you’re buying a 3x3x9 hoping to set fast times, you’re looking at the wrong puzzle. The fun comes from the challenge of solving it, dealing with parity, and watching it get completely scrambled into crazy shapes. That’s where this puzzle shines.
The size also makes it look really impressive in a collection. It’s one of those puzzles that immediately catches people’s attention because of how ridiculously tall it is. Solving it feels more like a puzzle-solving experience than a speedcubing experience.
Overall, if you enjoy cuboids, shape mods, or just want something unique in your collection, the WitEden 3x3x9 is definitely worth checking out. Just don’t expect it to replace your main speedcube anytime soon.
Let’s say this cube is not for speed solving but!… it is a great puzzle to spend time with and solve I found this cube really satisfying to solve although being in the more challenging cubes it is still really fun once you know how to solve it! Another thing to point out of this cube is that if you try to SPEED SOLVE IT it will pop pls don’t turn fast in this thing you will only end up damaging the cube
I got this cube years and years ago. It was the first cube I remember being super impressed with the fluidity of movement of. Over the years, I've worn off and replaced the stickers multiple times. Absolutely one of my favorite cubes and noncube people will look in horror at it in its unsolved state.
A regular cube never felt so tedious which is exactly what you want when you order a cuboid of so many layers. It adds a nice additional challenge because you are forced to deal with the pieces grouping into 3’s in the beginning of the solve - not as initially straight forward as a traditionally shaped cuboid. I love it. A little stiff out of the box but nothing some loosening and lube can’t fix in a jiff.
