X-Man Tornado 3x3 V4 Pioneer (Magnetic, MagLev, Ball-Core, UV Coated)

This cube is phenomenal. The magnets are perfectly adjustable, the uv coating is perfect, and the corner cutting is awesome. This is a really fast cube, and it almost never locks up. It is really rare to lock up, and every cube locks up sometimes. This is easily the best cube i have ever tried. I will say that if you put lunar on it on its own that you are going to crank the magnet strength to make it stop in time. Easy to turn, hard to not like it. I had a gan user try it and got them on team Xman designs immediately. They said that the turning was insane and that it is the best cube they have ever tried. I completely agree. I have no negatives about this cube.

I got this from the store in las vegas and it was a little dry. But when i pit in some martian it was great! Higly recommended (might not show as verrified purchase because i got it from the store)

I got this cube like a week ago and it is alraedy my favorite! I ordered it with Cosmic lubrication service so it wasn't dry out of the box. I paired it up with some Lunar lube and it bacame a really fast but still really controllable cube and the UV coating is also really nice. I know some people hate on the Pioneer version because of the edge repalling magnets but I personnaly love it! It makes the cube felle like it turns by itself! Overall when you find the best stting on the cube it becomes controllable, fast and smooth! and that's all a good speedcube needs. Instantly became my new main! Absolutely worth it and I definetly racommend buying though not for beginners because it may be too fast for them.

So, I have been using this cube for a while, and it is so great! I don’t actually own it, I’m borrowing it until I get my RS3 V5, but he has let me borrow is for about a month now, and I just can’t get enough of it. The turning is suuuuuper smooth, and the Maglev makes is very quiet. Most of the lube I have put in is Stardust, Lunar, and Weight 5. I have got my PR with this cube, being 18.52 seconds. The cube is not the best turning out of the box but adding lube gives it the good feeling.

I got the pioneer edition and out of the box, it was amazing! It was a tiny bit dry, so I lubed it with Martian Lube(my favorite lube) and it was so good! It is not too fast, not too slow, and super smooth and controllable! Five stars!

When I fist got this cube, it felt a little strange out of the box. It had a strange sandpaper feel that just wasn’t quite right. However, after a few months of using it and applying some lube, it became one of the smoothest turning cubes I have ever used. It is entirely adjustable to fit whatever turning style you would want, but works better with a smoother and more accurate turning style. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

The cube was fresh out the box and was amazing the turning was good the feel was good and I loved it

The cube is perfect in almost every way, but the drawback is large. The magnets make individual turns difficult to start, make overturning easier.

I love this speedcube. I love the adjustment aspects, such as tension, elasticity and magnet strength. Let’s dive into some specs:

The adjustment system is very simple and easy to understand. There are only a few combinations possible. You can decide for yourself if that is good or bad. On the one hand, it is good because it spares you the headache of trying to figure out for yourself which of the 1200 combinations you personally are a fan of. On the other hand, you might miss the refined tuning. Also, adjustment is toolless. It is nice on the one hand, but you do have to lift a tab on every side, which could take more time than a tool.

Magnet strength is easier to adjust than on the previous tornado v3. You only need to adjust 8 magnets total with the included tool. On the previous model it was every magnet on every corner.

Includes a nice, durable plastic case with amazing protection and a cheap fake leather bag that will tear within a week of use. LOL

As far as popularity is concerned most every cuber knows that Max Park mainly uses the X-man Tornado cubes. They seem to be quality and are quite obviously fast. This cube is also very quiet. Would recommend to cubers who are more advanced as this may seem too complex and fast besides over-budget for newer cubers.

The cube has a surprisingly stable feel after applying lube, and quickly became my main after unboxing. I made the cube looser on both core and edge magnets, and added lunar lube to set it just right for me. I would absolutely recommend this cube to anyone!

Personally, I think the TV4 might have the same feeling as the TV3, the cube itself is less controllable. It's corner cutting isn't as good and it gets locks. And the lowest possible settings still don't help with this. Other than that if you have controlled turns, this cube is amazing.

I really like the cube! It was an awesome cube and I think it's very similar to the v3, so if your in between the two go with this one, because it'll have a higher quality, than rather buying one than eventually upgrading. I was very unhappy about the case. It was a very cool case and I was so excited, than nearly an hour later it broke, so I have put several SCS Stickers so that it can still open and close with the same effect.

Out of the box turning was pretty good, I applied a bit of martian lube and after breaking in it was the best cube ever. Not only does it turn fast, it is also very stable and easy to control. If you don't mind spending money on new cubes I would totally recommend this.

my main cube was a gan 356 m, it was pretty good but kinda old now and i wanted a better one. i was gifted this on christmas and everything about it is 100x times better than the gan. obviously, the v4 pioneer turns SUPER smoothly, i love the feel of it. the tornado comes with a guide to adjust magnets and centers. it has a cfop, roux and beginner tutorial guide. it has a box case and bag case, and comes with a screwdriver. if you're thinking about getting it, definetly a good buy.
