I love this thing. Not for it's smart capability, but for the quality of the cube. It's built to be used. You can honestly buy it for a flagship cube and be happy, completely forgetting the fact that it's meant to be used with a smart app to see your turns, rotations, time spent in each phase, etc. But, since it has the capability to be used with such smart functions, I would be remiss if I didn't speak on the fact that the creators of a great app have paired their knowledge and expertise with another group of creators of a great cube to create an entire platform that perfectly speaks to the genius the cubing community has hidden away from the rest of the world. The battery life is great, the response to many individual apps is instantaneous, and the fact that you can drop this thing wherever (please don't. I am just clumsy) and have relative peace of mind is astounding. The only thing I don't like about this particular cube, and I mean the ONLY thing, is the fact that the chosen substrate has made the clear\glassy look has made it difficult to differentiate between the colors. After many hours of using it, I have been able to define the colors quickly, but my first couple of hours had me running multiple tens of seconds longer, sometimes doubles the solve time. This ONE PARTICULAR MODEL has a color scheme that makes it a little hard to get used to. Past that, I love the concept and cannot wait to buy one with something a little closer to solid colors
Nice cool cube looks very very cool for my collection can wait to get it ty cube shop for the recompile
it's beautiful but my very first solve (unstickered) took me two minutes (paired to Acubemy) because the clear plastic colors hampered my recognition ability; blue/white and red/orange are very easy to mix up.
otherwise, there are lots of other collector items in the rather huge box, and i still would recommend any avid collector to get one
