It turns pretty quickly but you have to get used to it. I personally use it over my regular 7 by 7, but you have to be okay with resembling it a couple of times. The outer layer turns very well if you turn accurately. I recommend it but it's not quite perfect so I can't give it 5 stars but I would give it more like a 4.6 if I could. The magnets are visible, but they protrude slightly and cause catching; when you get used to turning it (accurately), it's not as noticeable.
It's so little for a complex cube, and it feels nice to turn. Honestly, all three of the YJ mini sizes I have (4,5,7) have become my favs in their sizes, and the only thing I would change is adding another color scheme so the usually white/yellow cubies are easier to distinguish in low light.
Feels and turns like a speed cube, but I don't speed-cube. (This is 1mm smaller than my 4x4, I wish they would make a 4x4 less than 50mm).
