This highly praised budget 3x3 speed cube is "perfect for new cubers" with "smooth" turning and "great" corner cutting. Customers said it's "amazing" for the price, though some note it can feel "scratchy" out of the box and benefits from lubrication. The stickered version may peel over time. While lacking magnets and not ideal for advanced speedcubing, it's "surprisingly good" and highly recommended for beginners.
- Amazing beginner budget cube. Great turn speed and setup capability for such a cheap price.
- Surprisingly good cube. Very smooth and a good weight.
- This cube feels great for how old it is. It's quite stable and smooth.

It turns well but if you have to get the sticker cube it is absolutely trash 🗑 doesn't turn that well
Out of the box, this cube is very tight and dry/sandy and locks up a lot. Best setup I've found is to pop the center caps and loosen all 6 sides by 3.5 turns. Then compare the tensions on all faces to make sure they are even. Usually I will find one or two sides that need another 0.5 turn looser to match the others.
Then add two drops of Lunar to the top and bottom of each slice, one on the inner plastic part ball and one on the inner edge piece. This will put 4 drops on the yellow/white slice, 4 on the blue/green slice, and 4 on the orange/red for 12 total.
After each slice, rotate the L and R a few dozen times to distribute the lube.
There isn't much spring noise at these tensions, but on my first couple (white and blastic stickered) i also added 20W to the springs, but with the stickerless i don't think that is necessary.
Although I love how the cube feels with stardust lube, it is hard to get stardust to stay where i want it, and it seems to go away a lot faster than lunar. Martian is a little bit slower but still feels really good. Comet starts feeling too heavy/resistant to finger flicks for me. Galaxy, then nebula, then cosmos feel increasingly heavy/gummy and doesn't work for how i like this cube set up.
I've provided another review, but i wanted to pass along how this cube becomes an excellent $5 cube with very little setup. Head to head it isnt a flagship cube, but dollar for dollar it definitely has a place in my travel bag, and I'm not worried to let a novice or young 'un play with it/drop it.
This looks like a cube. I cannot wait to get it. Thank you for recommending this to me BTW, and wow, this is so amazing amazing amazing amazing
Simple, smooth, and surprisingly fast. Perfect for new cubers or as a cheap backup.
Amazing beginner budget cube. Great turn speed and setup capability for such a cheap price.
it’s a little scratchy, especially with aggressive turning. i added lunar with a drop of nebula to smooth it out and make it faster and now it turns pretty nicely
got this a while ago. out of the box, it was tight but pretty smooth. after loosening it and adding lube, it became very nice, though sometimes some pieces feel loose and it pops if you have an aggressive turning style.
Amazing budget cube, would definitely reccomend spending a couple extra dollars to get magnetic.
Great cube for the price
this is an amazing budget cube and i would recommend this for anyone just starting out.
Surprisingly good cube. I had low expectations with the price, so it very much surprised me how much I liked this. I was surprised it was stickered, I thought I got a stickerless one, but I still like it. I keep this one in my lunchbox or go bag because I got it to be one that can get roughed up a bit. Very smooth and a good weight.
Cool!
good
No setup needed. It's honestly a great cube. I ordered the Yuxin LIttle Magic back in 2019 whenever it was being compared to the Gan X. Till this day Yuxin Little Magic is a good cube, but the stickerless version cube is not my favorite. I prefer the stickered Yuxin Little Magic Magnetic. The stickered version also looks way better than the stickerless.
Good price1
Not my favorite but its still nice
Make sure you get it

This is my go-to cube for modding and stuff, recently did a force cube project and it turned out pretty well except for the white, which I had to remove the stickers.
This cube needed a bit of tweaking out of the box, but after that, it turned just as good as any other beginner cube out there. Not too good for speed though.
very nice for a $5 cube
This is a bargain cube, and in this case you get way more than you pay for. Although it doesn't compare to some of our other favorite cubes, it isn't necessarily intended to compete with them. Out of the box, it is a little sticky. Loosening it a bit even without lube is pretty quick even dry, with a somewhat scratchy feel. For a cheap little cube, this thing is amazing. After about 100 solves, I disassembled it and lubed it with Nebula to give it a gummy feel. II've recently purchased several.
Although this cube would definitely be faster with Martian or Lunar lube, the Nebula feels much better for what I'm using it for. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a very nice cube that they don't mind someone else with limited experience handling.
This cube feels great for how old it is. It’s quite stable and smooth, and after lubricating it with lunar, it has a nice fast and controllable feel. I think this would be great for mods or non-cubers to learn how to solve one.
very good trvel rubiks cube.
ive bought 3 of them and two of them have slowed down considerably, one of them is near unuseable condition after using silicone lube?(lunar and martian) i cleaned it out 10 times and is still sluggish like no tommorow? i learned my lesson and only used stardust on the other and its gotten a bit slower over time but not remotely to the degree the other did? im guessing the plastic the cube is made out of does not like silicone lube it binds to the plastic and you cant clean it out leaving a super super gummy slow feel to the point it takes serious effort to turn? its very fast out of the box and if it stayed like that it would be a easy 5 stars no doubt, for the price its fine all and all though as long as you baby it with the lube and clean it right
Good
Great value for it’s price, good starter.
If your starting out cubing or even just want a good budget cube this is the cube to go
