Nice glossy finish and the turning even better, it was a little bit scratched out of the box but overall it’s a good for being a shape shift puzzle

I bought one of these about 5 years ago and although I don't use it anymore it is a wonderful cube for beginners to start with. It turns smoothly and doesn't have issues with popping although it can catch occasionally because it feels a bit tight. Overall it's a great cube!

This cube was overall the best square-1 you can find for this price. the magnets make it click perfectly into place. this is THE starter square-1.

This is a high quality cube that moves well and is sturdy.

Surprisingly smooth and easy to handle. Great for learning the event.

My son loves this cube. More of a challenge than a "regular" cube.

This is one of my favorite cubes I have, its really fun to solve!

I'm far from a connoisseur when it comes to square-1, but am nonetheless impressed with how smooth this cube turns and how solid it feels.

The / turns are really smooth and quick, but the other moves are a bit more controlled and slower, feeling slightly faster than a Rubik's 3x3. I personally like this feel since the cube requires precise turns, and the magnets attract from a large distance, but are weaker. The corner cutting isn't very special, though. If you're at an advanced level on other cubes and are looking to try a new puzzle, this is one that I would recommend to start off on. Do note though, I wouldn't use this long-term or as my main.

bought at a comp. only good budget sq1 but the mgc and the volt is a tier better however this is the next best with setup.

The cube was smooth or out of the box, started getting more sub 1 minute solves on it, 5 stars.

The square-1 puzzle is a great challenge that I use as a break from traditional cubes. I have yet to figure out a method, but I have solved it a few times by intuition. This puzzle in particular was pre-lubed, and the tension was just right!

This is my first sq1 and i love the puzze. This is now one of my favorite events because of the challenge it offers.

Now about this specific product. The turning just feels so good. When you turn the puzzle it makes a really satisfying sound, i love it.

Even if i was paying more money, i would still have chosen this one over the mgc or other higher budget squans. Now obviously i dont own the mgc. but if it aint broke don't fix it!

It's an amazing option to get people started with square one. Got me interested, so I started learning. It's a hard thing to learn, but totally worth it if you learn parity!

Excellent out of the box, fully setup and everything, lubed perfectly and the tention was spectacular out of the box.

Got this Square-1 on 2024 Christmas, and I am enjoying it. I would recommend the YJ Squan, but this is a good budget and beginner cube.
