Does it have 24 doors or 25? Twenty-four. Day 1 is December 1 and the last door is December 24.
Are the puzzles the same as last year's calendar? No. Every puzzle in this edition is new to it.
Will I get puzzles I already own? The calendar deliberately excludes 3x3s and standard WCA puzzles, which makes a duplicate far less likely for an experienced cuber.
Do the puzzles need lubricant or setup? No. They work out of the box. If someone gets attached to one and wants it turning faster, that is where lube and tensioning come in.
