Current best skewb but get UV coated version

I bought this as a replacement for my gan skewb M that I bought in 2022 and have used every day at school since and almost immediately dropped my total average solve time from 8 to 6 seconds. If I bought this again I would get the UV coated version because I can see small scratches after only using it on a mat and carrying it in it's case

I mean...

It's a GAN Skewb! What do you want? It's perfect (basically). Magnetic, fast, light, fun! I only own one other skewb that admittedly is meant as a beginner skewb, so I can't really compare this against other ones on the market, but it's fantastic and you're getting exactly what you think you should be getting. The only small gripe I have is that it turns so easily it frequently jumps out of your hands when you pick it up. This is pretty funny when your friend asks to see it, but can be a little frustrating.

customized setup review

i have used a stock enhanced Skewb for about a year and decided to splurge my Christmas bonus on a new one with PVC/shields and Cosmic setup: it was expensive but so worth it. at first feels sluggish, took around 25 scramble/solve cycles to fully break it in and appreciate the customized setup. the exo shields really help me a lot with maintaining grip
