I've tried out most of the SCS lubes and comet doesnt quite hit the balance between speed and control for me. It feels quite a bit heavier, where i like a smooth and fast lube.
Lunar has the perfect balance of speed but stays where i need it and lasts quite while.
The picture is my ranking of the SCS lubes from best on the left (Lunar) to my least favorite on the right (cosmos). I used them on a bunch of Little Magic cubes to do a lube comparison for this review.
I am meh on comet and rarely reach for it.

It is fast but please be aware before you buy it that it IS heavy! It will make your cube a little faster and the turning a little stronger! I like it! Comet is a great name for it... a big and heavy but also really fast ball of ice ..

Good on a slow cube, but not with excess amounts. On a fast cube, It does not do much, but a good lube overall.

Great lube but can get gummy. I notice if I leave the cube in my bag when it’s hot outside the cube gets very fast I did a U7 on a Gan 2x2
I was expecting it to be a fast lube because it said that it had a speed of 10. It has a speed of like 4. It is my slowest lube and no where near as fast as Martian that has a speed of 9. Does not compare to Lunar or Stardust that also have speed of 10. It is not a 1 star, because it is not bad, just not what advertised. Buy if you want a slower and more gummy than Nebula or Cosmos. Not if you want speed.
great for big cubes where i need the speed. it creates a crunchy feel as it doesnt feel that gummy which i like.
Nice lube, seems slow at first but once you break it in it feels plush, buttery, and light. It worked great on both my megaminx (Yuhu v2 m) and my 3x3 (TV3 pioneer). It also made both of them quieter.
I don't have a lot of lube so when I'm just solving for fun without needing to actually solve fast. that's a great lube, fast but not to much.
This may be due to my inexperience but I've tried gummy lubes and this is pretty similar without too much speed in turning so definitely not my favorite.
Comet should not produce a gummy feel at all. It is important to note that mixing lubricants will alter the results along with applying lubricant to a cube that is not freshly cleaned. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our support team!
The lube worked great on the cube. It has a nice, smooth feel. I would recommend it.
This lube may look thick and slower, but once it breaks it in becomes incredibly soft, slippery, and plush. It mixes great with Lunar especially for a very frictionlless feel and is my main lube. Just be careful not to use too much as it can start to feel overlubed faster than thinner lubes like Martian.

I really enjoy how it speeds up the cube. I was just a little skeptic at first because it looked so sticky
my first lube ever and it works fine. makes my gan 356 maglev smoother and a little faster, but it is more gummy than i thought it would be. i would recommend to people who have cubes with lots of friction or ones that need to be sped up.
Makes it feel smooth
This helps smoothing out my cubes but they became more gummy than I would like. I do not understand why this is a 10 on the fast scale, like my RS3M Super felt quite fast before but with 1 drop of this lube it became more controllable but quite sluggish. My YS3M was very sandy out of the box, this lub decreased the friction but a lot and made it feel softer, but turning felt quite heavy to the point where doing U2 tires out my fingers

Its controllable, and slightly slower then Martian, slightly faster the Nebula. Its smooooothhh and lasts weeks! Its perfect when paired with Stardust
