Magnetic 3x3 speedcube praised for "smooth turning" and "great corner cutting." Customers loved the stunning metallic appearance, calling it "gorgeous" and a "great display piece." Some noted colors can be hard to distinguish due to reflections, and the coating may peel with heavy use. Overall "great value for the price."
- So smooth! It works so well and is very smooth to use.
- Great corner cutting, good turning, and really nice for the collection.
- Surprisingly light, easy to turn, fast, and plays nice with lubricants.

Looks better then the photos in person.
It's turning is incredibly smooth out of the box no need for tensioning or lubricant. This is an incredible cube, it turns insanely well with 45 degree corner cutting.
Absolutely would recommend if you are looking for something unique.
Great corner cutting good turning and a really nice piece for the collection, good looking shiny colors it makes for an awesome gift.
Amazing quality and they always deliver early
It came as pastal not regular which is what I ordered but other than that it's a very nice cube especially since it's magnetic who needs UV coating when you have a metallic cube
I ordered this for my son recently and paid extra for them to lubricate it before we received it. It works so well and is very smooth to use. My son loves it.
turns super smoothly and i love the feel of it
This cube looks exactly like it does in the pictures, and the turning feels smooth but snappy, like a GAN without the magnets and looser. The corner cutting is up to standard, and the cube responds normally to lube. This is good as a base-level speedcube, and nice to show off to people.
Great cube for the price
Looks great! Sounds great! Super fun to have as a display piece that you can solve too.
Very fast, good corner cutting. However, concerned twists are fairly easy
i love how it shines. its pretty easy to leave fingerprints on it but either way it's pretty cool, and it turns really well
This is probably my best looking cube, and turns very well. its sometimes hard to see the colors when solving, but i bought it for the display. Great addition to my collection!
Great feel but very trippy on the eyes
Cool looking cube!
good
I highly recommend it
this was my first speedcube, and the reason i get good times now. its a great beginner cube
My grandson loved the ease of use and bright colors!
I bought the Cyclone Boys Metallic 3x3 magnetic as a display piece. Regular price for the metallic 3x3 is $16. SCS had the metallic 3x3 on sale during Black Friday and I was able to buy it for $12. I performed 100 solves on this cube before posting this review. I've added Lunar lube once on initial setup, and am using the factory tensions.
PROS
Scratchy, dry, sandy. The magnets provide a satisfying "bump" to help align turns but not get in the way of initiating turns. Corner cutting is okay, perhaps 22 degrees. Backward cut is slightly less at about 15 degrees. Corner cutting would probably be better at looser tensions, but this cube is used primarily to display. Removing the center caps is easy without tools, but spring tension adjustments requires a screwdriver (not provided). The metallic cube is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! The price for this display piece represents a great value. The plastic box in which it comes is a perfectly fine display frame as well.
CONS
The metallic surface is slick, and attracts fingerprints (no kidding, lol). The plastic feels "hollow". Solving is not as rewarding as any of my mains, or even second tier cubes. The colors are sometimes hard to distinguish, especially in places where reflections show up on the cubie faces.
VERDICT
As a speed cube, this isn't great, perhaps a 6 or 7 out of 10. However, that wasn't its purpose when I bought it, and let's be honest, looks trump usability when you have perfectly fine mains on the shelf next to it waiting to be twisted. In fact, I am tempted to purchase six more of these to make force cubes out of them (without stickers, though). Each of the colors would make a great unscrambleable cube, whether solid or patterned. My rating of 5 stars is purely based off of its performance as a display piece. As a speed cube, it would probably be at 3 stars.
my friend has this cube and i tested it, its turn is heavy, and the magnetic feel is subtile, for people that like light magnets and controlable cubes is good, but i prefeer lighter and faster cubes like gan and moyu, also its shades are weird, are cool but i confuse it
If you're considering it, go for it! It's reasonably priced, and I love the sleek, metallic look. The performance is excellent, with smooth turning and strong magnets that really enhance the experience.
Does anyone know if you can use this in comp because I have a comp coming up and I'm worried it will not be allowed.
Yes, this item is allowed to be used in competition.
Great cube the magnets are good the turning feels smooth over all great cube
This shiny 3x3 rubiks cube somehow turns better than my speed cube moyu rs3m v5... Only problem I have with it is that the metallic coating begins to peel off as you speed solve it.
The cube turns great it feels good it’s fast and it looks amazing.
The turning is great and it's very fast.
This cube looks and feels amazing with the metallic look and magnets. The shiny colors can slow you down a little so I would recommend this for more casual use, but regardless I love it!
Good turning cube, and looks nice as well
This cube Turns pretty fast. the colors are a little bit hard to get used to tho. It is magnetic, the magnet strengh is not very strong tho. I dnt think i would really ever use this as one of my mains tho. overall this is a pretty good cube, its magnetic, its pretty cheap, AND ITS SHINYYYYYYYYYYYY. oh and also its great to make force cubes with.
