The turning right out of the box is amazing and super smooth and quiet. I added some lunar and comet because it was a little bit slow but this is now my new main.
On a more serious note this mat design is really good and is extremely stylish. If all you use is a phone timer and you don't drop the cube after the solve it's definitely more for looks but it's super functional if you use a traditional timer.
