Nice puzzle that's different from most others.

No more noisy spring!

Thanks to a Tony Fisher video showing how he took the Tangram Cube apart I was emboldened to pop a piece or two out and pry a cap off so I could lube the noisy spring. Now it is much quieter. After figuring out some algorithms to solve the puzzle I continued to play with it and discovered more efficient ways to solve certain pieces. Refining a solution strategy is part of the fun and this cube has given me lots of fun in the week and a half I've had it. Because a couple of the pieces have minor flaws where the two different colors of plastic come together I wouldn't give this a 5-star rating, but if I could I'd give it 4.8 stars. And if you get the black puzzle with stickers, it probably wouldn't have this problem.

I Love It

I have thoroughly enjoyed figuring out how this puzzle works and how to solve it. I appreciate that it came in a stickerless version. Some of the trapezoid shaped pieces of plastic are slightly flawed, but it doesn't affect the solving experience. If not for those little flaws in the plastic I would give it a 5-star rating. It has been a long time since I have worked out algorithms for a new puzzle. Fun! It sometimes catches when turning and there is a spring noise when turning one of the layers, but neither is a major problem. This puzzle is amazing. It has 3 edges that turn 180 degrees and two corners that turn 120 degrees. Crazy! I love it!

Interesting and Fun Puzzle

First off, this puzzle turns amazing and is very high quality. The Tangram Cube does not change shape which makes the puzzle much more appealing in my opinion. The solve is moderately challenging and worth a try!
