This puzzle needs a stickerless speed "cube" variant

This is a fun and challenging puzzle. I've found 3 algorithms that pretty much solve everything EXCEPT a certain case that makes it so hopeless to solve that I have to scramble & start over. Even with algorithms you have to apply a lot of strategic thinking to solve it. Only drawback is the stiff turning especially in the outer layers & tendency to lock up, which makes every solve a physical chore. I would SO get on board with a smoother turning, stickerless version like the FTO that you can buy at this site!!

Different and challenging

It’s been a cool addition to the collection. I haven’t been able to figure it out yet which i think is a good thing because it keeps me coming back to it every once in a while.

4x4 Shape Mod

I really wanted to give this 4x4 shape mod a try but the mechanism is old. The puzzle does not cut corners and it locks up very frequently. The center layers turn some what smoothly and the outer layers are very stiff.

Challenging and fun 4x4x4 shape mod.

The 4x4 octahedron is extremely challenging to solve as opposed to a normal 4x4. The puzzle turns smoothly, but does not cut corners due to having an old mechanism type. I recommend the getting Moyu 4x4 modifications before this.
