Fun Easy Puzzle

Great Puzzle, poor design

I love this puzzle, but it's quirks have really brought it's rating down. The puzzle has had its inner thin edge pieces fall out multiple times, and then the whole puzzle falls apart. I love its shape shifting, but the design of the puzzle makes it catch very often. I tried lubing it with cosmos lube (good lube by the way!!) and it made it fall apart more and turn worse. Although i take the blame for lubing it, it feels like the puzzle sacrificed stability for shapeshifting. A version that is very stable (like the 1x2x3) that doesn't need to shapeshift would probably be a better choice for me. Overall, the puzzle's concept is nice. Easy for beginners; all the way through. But I am a bit disappointed in this puzzle's design and hope it is upgraded in the future.

Good fidget toy

I'm not entirely new to cubing, but let's just say I'm new enough to where you probably are better than me. I got this, knowing it could shapeshift, and knowing what it does. I had no trouble solving it, so if you do other things (2x2, 3x3, 4x4,) this shouldn't be much of a challenge for you. I guess the best way I can describe the turning is it feels like a rubik's 2x2, but it turns like an unlubed cube. It doesn't turn like the rubik's 2x2, it just feels like one. This is honestly a little bit worse than I expected, but I don't regret anything at all. This is a great fidget toy, and I love picking it up every one in a while! I recommend not watching a tutorial, as it is fun and challenging to figure out. Get it. Not that many problems.
