The caps came off a few times while solving

The caps are just friction fit on the skewb, and at least on mine, a couple of them are sort of loose out of the box. You can replace the yellow with black which I did, but the affected caps were a completely different edge piece. Not sure if mine was an exception to the norm, but mostly it's okay if you put the piece back in for a while. The magnets feel pretty good and it's a good price for what you get otherwise.

The cube was overall a good affordable and, despite its maglev, a rather contrallable high quality and purplely product.
