This puzzle is a great introduction into shape mods. As an intermediate speed cuber, I have a variety of puzzles from skewb to megaminx to nxn, and this turns very well for what it is. Shape mods add a little spice to your thinking of how to solve a 3x3, such as in this case, center orientation, edges that look like corners and corners that look like edges. Does it turn the greatest? No. But you handle a shape mod cube a little more delicately than a normal cube. Tensions are a lot better than what I had recived with the yuxin variant of the puzzle, and I don't like the almost-sky-blue-but-not-really on the stickerless version of that puzzle.
