ShengShou goes bigger than most brands bother to — pillowed 8x8 through 11x11 on the cube side, and a minx line that climbs past megaminx to gigaminx, teraminx, and examinx. Nearly every line comes in both magnetic and non-magnetic form, so the choice is feel and budget, not availability.
Magnet strength is the main fork. Across the range it runs moderate on clocks and square-1 variants and stronger on the 3x3 line, and the megaminx side goes furthest — ball-core builds carrying core magnets, which hold tension better than a screw-tensioned core over a long session. Non-magnetic versions of the same puzzles stay in the line, so a first big cube does not have to be a magnetic one.
Big orders and the minx ladder
Past 7x7 the cube line goes pillowed — 8x8 through 11x11 — where the rounded shape keeps corner-twists manageable at high layer counts. The minx side scales the same way: kilominx at two layers, megaminx at three, then gigaminx, teraminx, and examinx.
Shape mods and accessories
Shape mods are a real part of this range, not a sideline: mirror blocks in 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4, mastermorphix across several orders, plus pyramorphix, dino, and FTO. Clocks and timers round it out.
