YuXin Elite Kilominx (Magnetic) is a 6x6 megaminx featuring a sculpted exterior which assist with grip and turning feel. If you have conquered the megaminx and want to try something more challenging, this is for you!
MagneticAfter feeling like the YuXin magnetic 4x4 megaminx was just "pretty good," this puzzle surprised me. The 4x4's magnets were a little weak, but the magnets on this one are actually sweet. Nice and clicky, hugely improves the solving experience. Very little catching unless you force sloppy turns; let the magnets help you.
It suffers just a little bit from what seems to be a pattern with even-layered magnetic big minxes: the inner magnets are a little weaker. However, the issue is less pronounced here compared to the YuXin 4x4 magnetic megaminx (and it's WAY better than in was on the DianSheng version).
I noticed just once thing that I'm unsure about: the internal edge pieces are *uncapped,* and the magnets are exposed. They aren't inside a magnet capsule either, they're just sitting there. They seem to be glued in pretty well, I just hope they don't fall out.
