Carbon Fiber Mega Set

After having owned this bundle for what I think is about a year I can confidently tell any person getting into cubing should get this. In fact, I believe a beginner should purchase this before any other product and see what puzzles they might want to get better versions of. The quality is okay but with some lube and tension adjustments the puzzles quality increases slightly. The stickers look nice and having the matching cubes together is nice just to have on your desk. Bottomline, this bundle is excellent for beginners but if you are serious about cubing and improving your speed you should find a higher quality cube like the GAN 356 X which is currently my oh main after some adjustments. Also, this could be a good gift.

This set includes so many fun cubes! Plus they look super cool. Some of the cubes are better than the others though. The pyraminx and skewb are actually great quality and look good with the carbon fibre stickers. On the other hand, both the 4x4 and 5x5 tend to pop quite easily if you're not careful, and if you plan on solving them a lot, it might be worth it to take the stickers off (they're stickerless cubes with a good colour scheme) of them so you can easily identify the colours. As well, the 2x2 is just amazing for the price except for the colour visibility, with the stickers on it is much harder to speed solve. The other cubes, the megaminx and 33, are all around decent budget cubes, not much to comment on there.

All in all, this set is a great bargain for all you get and I would highly recommend it to anyone just getting into cubing or looking for some cool looking twisty puzzles.

We bought this set for our teen who uses the cubes daily. Overall they work well. Many of the black stickers have fallen often (from multiple cubes) and the pyramix top is a bit wonky (top turns when other section is turned)

Okay quality, great for trying out different cubes.
